Ok all you people we are the only ones doing bad stuff. I haven't heard you say one thing bad about Tyler Kiser. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? This kid wow umm.. This kid smokes, chews, probably drugs as well. Let's look at his list - 1. Vandalizing the post office (which we got blamed for), 2. Took a crap in the middle school boys restroom urinal, 3. Broke out someones (won't name names) passenger side window out of their truck, 4. Stole plenty from the Marathon. That's all I am aware of and still we are the bad ones. You people were the ones saying he had potential in his life (LUMINA). ARE YOU KIDDING ME? You still think he has that potential? I sure as hell don't. And yet we are still the bad ones.

Troy, I was not aware of the things Tyler is accused of doing. The internet is not the place for to single out a person. It is called libel and you could be sued. The police need any evidence you may have.

Nobody singled you out. I know nothing about you. I was discussing the general problems in the village and ways to help. You should do the same.

Oh I know I strongly agree. Seeing that I am 17 and about to start my life elsewhere I still want to see this community happy. I mean this year we will bring respect and pride back to this village through basketball. I know it's not the place to single people out but I just had to because this kid seriously needs punished badly. When he did that truck window he was actually going to bust my window out first but didnt have a ride to my house. Therefore he busted out the window of the person that wouldn't take him to my house.

I'm sorry to hear that you are leaaving Bettsville. I guess there's nothing here for young people and, from the responses I've gotten, there never will be.

The police know who does the damage but it's hard to prove. They never get caught in the act and their parents protect them. It's a lose-lose situation for the victims.

Truth is, if I catch them, I will gladly go to jail for criminal spanking.

Troy, It would possibly help if you would go to the police with your information. as I said in another post, the village needs the good kids of Bettsville to help with weeding out the bad. I am sure if you go and speak to Chief Mason, he will be more than happy tou hear what you have to say.

Troy, I would think you could aproach any of the village officers when they are on duty and explain to them that you have some information for the chief and I am sure they could tell you how to reach him.

That's my main reason for being here. We need adults to vote for the levy to support community services. Maybe they will when they become the target of the vandals.

All the officers are cool if you get to know them. They are just people with families and lives of their own. They are also people who decided to lay their lives on the line everyday to keep us safe.

Quote from Lumina, "They are also people who decided to lay their lives on the line everyday to keep us safe." It should say "who decided to lie their lives on the line", and you always argue at us about grammar.

I am correct, Troy.

Lay vs. Lie
"Lay" and "lie" are often confused--and always confusing.

"Lay" is a verb meaning to put or place something somewhere. It takes a direct object. Its principal parts are "lay," "laid," "laid," and "laying."

Examples: Every day I lay the book on the table. Yesterday I laid the book on the table. I have laid the book on the table many times.I am laying the book on the table right now.

In all these examples, the verb is a form of the word "lay," and the direct object is "book."

"Lie" is, in this context, a verb meaning to recline. It does not take an object. Its principal parts are "lie," "lay," "lain," and "lying."

Examples: Every night I lie down. I lay down last night. I have lain down many times. I am lying down right now.

If you're in doubt about whether to use "lay" or "lie," try substituting a form of the verb "place." If it makes sense, use a form of "lay."
