Yes, Carl and the Tiro World is remembered by those who lived in Tiro at that time. I can remember him making all those weekly phone calls to find out if your family did any thing the past week so he could print it in the newspaper.
When I turned 15 I worked for Carl on Thurs. after school. My job was to put the mailing addresses on each newspaper. We'd mix up the thick paste and apply to a page of labels and take a tin lid cut in half to cut each label from the page. Yes, I remember those days. Thanks for the memories.
