People, really learn how to use one. We do have one here in Ticonderoga. If you are coming off of Lord Howe Street, You do not have the Right Away. You have a Stop Sign. A Stop Sign, means STOP! You must wait for all other Traffic to go around. You never have the right away, never. So stop crossing in front of the people coming from down town. TO get the point across here it goes ----- cars coming from Walmart, first to go unless a car is coming from down town and wishes to head to Hague or Lord Howe Street. Second on the list is a car coming from Hague way, yes they are next to go. Then we have down town flow of traffic again. And last but not least we have the cars waiting at the stop sign. If there is no traffic you may go now to head up Wicker Street or whatever.A stop sign is a traffic sign to notify drivers that they must stop before proceeding.

Once a vehicle has stopped at the stop sign at Lord Howe and has now entered the circle, Downtown traffic entering the circle should yield! The point is that vehicles entering the circle yield to vehicles already in the circle. Pretty simple, but I get people blasting thru that circle all the time who don't even look to their left to see if anyone is already there.

In the past 6 months, I have narrowly missed being hit from a car entering from Hague and not yielding.
Also, this is the law about Red Yield Signs in NY:

YIELD Sign

COLOR: Red and white, with red letters.

MEANING: Slow down as you approach the intersection. Prepare to stop and yield the right-of-way to vehicles and pedestrians in or approaching the intersection. You must come to a full stop at a YIELD sign if traffic conditions require it. When you approach a YIELD sign, check carefully for traffic, and be prepared to stop.

Someone is believing that the public has some level of intelligence that will make all this work perfectly.
Let me remind you, this same public just voted for a president that refuses to salute our flag.
If only people were required to provide proof of citizenship and proof of employment before being allowed to vote.

Mr. Idiot (aka Nash) for your information Barack Obama did not refuse to salute the flag. He just did not salute the National Anthem. Have you ever seen anyone salute the National Anthem at a big sporting event. And no one, but no can get a voters registration card with out proof of citizenship. Get over yourself.

The people in Ticonderoga aren't smart enough to graduate school or find Canada on a map, so driving around becomes very difficult, depending on which pills they took and what they smoked. They need to be thankful that Welfare will buy their food, pay their rent, pay their heat bill and cover all medical and dental.
Isn't government wonderful? You don't need to answer that until you get out of bed after noon.
