It is my understanding that the deputy Superindent of Ticonderoga Highway Dept. caused approximately a 1000 gallon oil spill at the Highway Garage. This was last Saturday and not reported to the DEC. within the 24 hour time frame as required by law. He is attempting to clean up the spill before anyone can detect it.

If this is true, then other people who work there must know.

Could they be held accountable for not reporting such a spill?

There will be no fines unless someone of authority gets involved. There are to many deaf ears in Ti.

1 st of all, there must be a MOLE in the Highway Dept. reporting to Cindy Morrison, shame on all of you, these men have been working very hard long days and accidents happen, and as for you Cindy, i am sorry for your loss, but your son did what he did and its all behind everyone. If the people of Ti would support our town workers instead of ridiculing them things would be alot better. Also if this spill happened years ago, then just maybe there is something faulty in the system, so instead of bashing our officers on here, maybe you should all learn to work things out, and as for the MOLE you are nothing but a piece of shit and i wouldn;t want you working for me !!!!!
Which is it

A mole? Oh my God...are we talking about the Ti "CIA" here? Or the town crew? "Officers?" WHAT "officers?"

If there is something "wrong with the system," then the hard- working people have had...what three years to fix it by now.?? We could put a man on the moon faster than that. There is someone being paid to see that the repairs get done and that another environmental disaster does not happen. So then, we don't get yet another visit by the DEC, which is embarrassing and stupid.(WHY does most of the stupid stuff in Essex County happen in Ti?)

I personally applaud whoever reported this alleged "mistake." No matter who they reported it to, as long as the right people get the information and investigation is started!

I have no idea. I am sorry if it does but believe me I have no idea or reasoning for this.

Would someone else do the job of explaining how I.P.'s work, and proxies and Topix postings. For the technologically illiterate.

Although there are some from C.P. and Port Henry who post in the Ti Topix forum. Don't have a clue why. Guess there are no problems in C.P. or Port Henry to discuss. Right...

So, did this spill really happen?

And, has it been reported to the proper authorities?

If so, what is being done about it?
