Can I just say, congrats, you took a ridiculous topic that was FOUR months old without a new comment and brought it back to life. Kudos. Theres an old saying "better to keep your mouth shut and be thought a fool than to open it and prove it"I'm sure Ada will appreciate you bringing her name back to the top of the Topic list.

Do you know the story about a staff member hitting a patient. Supposedly, not quite enough evidence to fire that person.

THEN, that same staff member was SEEN hitting a different patient. THEN, this person was fired.

So, it maaakes you wonder how many people were hit when 1) there "wasn't enough evidence" or 2) actually no one was there to see it

Do you wonder if the families were told? Do you wonder if there was ever a record created that the public can see? Yeh--SCARY!!

Ok, so I must stay a commont to this BULLSHIT!!! I work at the nursing home, Have been there for a few years now. We do our best to keep our residents safe from harm. We do our best to give them the best quality of life that we can. We don't murder these people, please. Most of these people are there because they have under lying diseases to start with. People get with the program. Most of the elderly are in there because there family's can no longer take care of them at home.. You do the math on that.. Whoever wrote this from the beginning needs to grow the F*** up, if they felt that way then they should just keep it to them selves. We bust our asses at this job, and we take great pride in our work and the people we care for. Granted we don't have the help that is always need to manage everyones orders, needs and wants, but damn it we try. Give us some credit for the things we do. Oh and I onestly don't see some of you that are bitching doing this job. So until you know the real truth behind the senes then I think this topic should be discontinued. As for Ada, she is a damn good nurse. So what people trying to be alive and make the day, and she has good spirts so thats good to have in a place where you see things imagionable. Good for Ada.. You keep up your good work for all you do. Just remember is all you that bitch about it, that don't do a damn thing. You all are pin pointing Nursing and CNA's but we have to do what we told by administration. Everybody has a boss, not matter what job it is.. I am very please to work as a fellow staff member and I am very please with everyone I work in. Also, to the people that run there mouths about Inter Lakes Health, just remember that one day you may need us..

Is it possible that there are things that you don't know?

Is it possible that there will be people who will darn well make sure that you never know? In order to protect their reputation...

Do you think maybe we should all keep our minds and eyes open? The faith of a child is just that...childish.

EVERY patient in the nursing home who cannot afford their own attorney should have a court-appointed law guardian.

Somebody needs to watch out for the welfare of this overlooked vulnerable population!
