Yea finally new leadership coming. Maybe Bill will take a stand on some important issues and represent the taxpayer instead of sitting on the fence without leading. Big issues in this town not addressed by Deb. Just not a leader!

I wouldn't get to excited it was a primary, did you see the voter percentage??? You can bet more people will be voting on Election Day.

Voter turnout on election day will still be less than 30%.

The local Republican party should be embarrassed at the Primary voter turnout.

Now, imagine a Town Board that governs by straw poll results from such low voter turnout. I suppose they'll still say it beats having to take the responsibility for making decisions themselves.

You mean like how many Malaney relatives are there in Ti? And relatives of relatives and friends of relatives...

If you're a GOPer and believe that party affiliation is vital to local elections, this turnout is depressing.

If, on the other hand, you don't give a rat's tuckus about party affiliation in local elections, the primary turnout is nothing less than amusing. ;)

Is there any reason to do local primaries when the candidates also run on independent lines?

Was the candidates running on an additional party line a factor in the low Republican voter turnout? Are the candidates merely RINOs (Republicans In Name Only)?

For so called fiscally-conservative Republicans, this seems like an incredible waste of time and taxpayer dollars.

You know that Bill's mother was Tom Malaney's sister? That is Tom Sr. Debby is a Malaney by injection and marriage only !!!! She is no longer married to Tom Malaney Jr. So where does percentages statement mean anything. She is a Knight.

Really? Why keep a name....because you still share it with your children, changing everything you have it on is a painful task in itself. Because you can!!! Just a few reasons. I just hope I don't share the same name with someone who would rather make that a bigger deal then the election of who runs their town. Hmmmm.....

This is exactly what I, and some others, are talking about. We desperately need a town MANAGER, with a business degree, a real degree not an "education" from a high school or a college diploma mill or an "online degree." Someone with a proper education, business experience and public policy experience. For God's sake, someone who can write a proper English sentence and has a brain.
