This story just rips off other media, and gets the facts wrong. Sue Corey hasn't been Democratic Party chair for two years. Ha, ha.

I believe the citizens of this country are speaking out. Look at the Village of Keeseville. The people spoke. Many Supervisors of Essex County were voted out.

It is time we receive new blood. New ideas and the politics stop.

Look at Mr. Morrow of Chesterfield. A park that sits idol from potential business and jobs. A vacant piece of dirt.

Relatives that receive security jobs and positions within his rankings.

I laugh at the television station the meetings. The board members either camera shy or just a bunch of yes men and will say women that as one person stated just bobble their heads to Mr. Morrow.

Millions of dollars given out for grant money to business's that left the area or moving away from this area with no accountability.

Mr. Morrow having a position with the United Way the Knights of Columbus and somehow uses the Knights of Columbus to promote the United Way.

There are so much more I can speak with of why we need to take the politics out of public voted on position however, due to lack of time and space I will just say it is time we rethink our voting for the party and vote for a person that is going to do the job.

The job should be to find ways to lower taxes, bring jobs, safe communities and more of course but not to keep raising taxes to stay within a tax cap.

After all when was the last time taxes were lowered? When was the last time taxes stayed the same? When was the last time taxes were raised. I will be the answer is taxes raised each year. Pull out those tax bills from 10 years or more ago and compare. I did. You will be unpleasantly surprised. Now look at your paycheck from 10 years or more ago and do the math?

We just can not afford these politicians.

I agree with this poster 100%! The costs of our governments and our employees has so outstripped our meager wage increases as to seriously curtail our quality of life. Little mistakes on the county level, like a "19 million dollar" prison that we have over 60 million in,the new 10+ million dollar radio system, a third more county employees than we need, and "to the moon" social services expenditures, and I could go on and on.
If the state mandates all this bureaucratic bull-crap then let them fund it! And as a final note if they try to implement those crazy near 40% increases that they mentioned in the P.S.we ought march on E-town with fence-rails, tar, and feathers, and run them out of town! I've been on the same job over 25 years and my wages have not increased that much in a quarter of a century!

I too a resident of Essex County and agree as well. We are all taxed out.

Think of it this way.

The government doesn't make money.

The government spends money.

So where does all the money come from.

We are all taxed to much.

Tax us but bring jobs back to our communities. Promote this area so the current business's can survive. It is a simple concept.

It is time the people speak up until this can happen.

Very few people live comfortable. Very few people can live without having paycheck to paycheck. Less and less people are staying in their homes for 20 - 30 years and selling after a short time frame as one can not afford taxes.

Those hand full of people are lawyers, doctors, insurance people and of course politician.

In general I speak the truth.

You get my point.

You're an uneducated fool. Learn before you think. Think before you speak. Hard to imagine that's how great minds work. Unfortunately, you have a simple mind.
