Does anyone have any ideas for Supervisor and Town Board. Who would/could be good candidates? Here's your chance to step up and put all that 'bitching' energy to work.

Jeff Cook is a phony. He has always seemed so pleasant and very sociable til the day I came upon him screaming at the top of his lungs to a women on the street. He is disturbed, he turned around two days later and said hello how are you to me like I never saw a thing or like this type of behavior is perfectly acceptable. He has anger issues an is a loose cannon in my opinion. I lost all respect for him that morning a year ago and he would not get my vote for dog catcher let alone town supervisor.

Jeff is a power freak. He thinks he knows it all. No one else's opinion matters. He is never wrong, ask him.

I'm interpreting your post to be a bit on the sarcastic side, but, also, I believe you are 100% correct. Someone who knows how to handle (make) money and someone who has fresh ideas and not related to everyone and their brother/sister/cousin is probably just what this area needs in order to breathe new life into this rapidly dying town. It's too bad that the town folk will probably never let this happen.

John Bartlett. Local-left and came back. Retired-has the time. Concerned-goes to many meetings all ready. Thinks before he speaks. Asks intelligent questions. Goes find answers when there aren't any. Tireless worker! Retired Actuary-very detailed oriented. Not a follower. Loves this town/area.

I agree. He's young enough and has had the experience with the police department. Tireless in his efforts for St Mary's School fund-raising. Has served now on the board. Self assured. Has shown a lifelong commitment to Ticonderoga.

John Bartlett sounds promising but how bout Jay Fortino he is a stellar citizen and has and does a lot for Ti. He's honest and as a lifelong resident & buisness owner he's aware of the problems Ti has and may have a few ideas on how to fix them. However I wish both of them luck as the present system is glutted with nepotism and pork.

Nepotism and pork I think will continue with Jay Fortino in there too. Give Deb a chance. She is trying hard and has the best interest of the tax payers. Things are tough right now and it's a challenging job. I think we need to be looking at the school. Look at the nepotism there!
