Ti hospital blunders

Not only does Ti hospital have well qualified nurses and PA's they have a kick ass phlebotomist there who a lot of people look forward to see by the name of Sue Bouchard

I always lol when the topic of the hospital comes up. The same people who are complaining are the ones who couldnt make it a hour to another hospital. They would be the type of people who would blame Ticonderoga if something happened to a loved one should there not be a hospital closer for them. I also feel that the complaints I read are from people who take advantage of the ER rather than going to the doctor's office.

The great thing about this country is that you have choices. You can choose to go somewhere else. But, let me tell you this. There is not a facility in the country that does not have mishaps. The medical field is not fool proof. People learn from their mistakes. At one time, the medical field did care without gloves. Conditions were very unclean. They learned from that. It is a learning process and things change rapidly. Also, I highly doubt that anyone threw a needle in the trash. No one is that stupid. There are sharps containers spread through out the hospital. Everywhere!!!!!!!

look up avascular necrosis the hip does rot when blood is unable to reach certain areas the bone the cartilidge all start to rot and guess what your hip rots, imagine that u learned something today.

What does avascular necrosis have to do with this topic? What are you trying to prove? What's your point?

Avascular necrosis is a condition which can be caused by many things. It does not happen overnight and can be treated with surgery an option only when it is very severe. I find it hard to believe no one noticed this condition until it was so severe that a hip replacement is necessary. Was there follow-up with an orthopedist or medical dr or just the ed visit?

You better go back and read it again, when the bones oxygen and blood supply are gone, the bone weakens and then collapse..for heaven's sake, bones to do not "rot". Meat rots, bones disintegrate.

I have a chronic health condition that requires frequent blood tests. I have had blood taken in 4 states and many major trauma centers and Ti's professionals beat them all. The one gentleman had he not waking me up I would have slept right through it. Keep up the great work.
