I like the new bakery/sandwich shop, but the guy who runs the register is so arrogant, I almost want to stop going there. He needs a lesson in customer service or they won't be around very long with his attitude! Remember when the summer people leave, you have locals who won't deal with an arrogant a$$.

I feel the same way. He is very rude. I like to support local and a new business, but this guy is way over the line. Claire and her daughter are very personable, but the dude is not nice. |

I have gone in twice, each time it was around 10:30 am and each time they had nothing. Sold out I'm told. The man was rude, got to get here early was his statement. I should have said should have been prepared if you're open until 2, instead I asked will you have more later, he said yah tomorrow. I haven't been back. |

So because a guy said 'Gotta get here early!' because his store is popular and people buy all the baked goods, you guys are all going to attack him? You people need to find something better to do. I think he's real cool, I went in there and he was happy to tell me about anything under the glass, joked around while he checked me and my friends out. Maybe he was having an off day or something, but I SERIOUSLY doubt that he was rude to all of you. I think you're a bunch of bitter little sh*ts looking for something to moan about. Find hobbies, the lot of you.

I doubt if this business will survive. Prices are way too high and product is just OK, nothing to rave about. Not to mention the parking isn't great.

I am a businessman in the area. I employ several people and he is rude !!!! Not bitter, not looking to bash, just giving some constructive criticism. I think you have been around Ti to long and have not experienced good customer service !!!!!! |

Have stopped by twice now, empty of baked goods, and wonder exactly what they might have had. Did see chocolate chip cookies, but for pete's sake, I can make those at home. No pies/cream puffs/breads/fancy cookies or cakes..the usual items one finds in a decent bakery. 1 more stop is all I will try. Not interested in cafe side, just baked goods, sweets and artisan breads.

I was in twice. Sold out of almost everything, man behind counter said. Saying that that they are popular and we should suck it up is silly; they should monitor what they sell and make more of what they sell out of by noon.

I got the feeling they are doing some early morning business with hotels and B&Bs. I don't get out that early to check.

I have not been in "Libby's" yet, but after reading the 'complaints' about the 'cashier', why don't you tell Claire and her daughter, and maybe they could do something about it, rather then complain on here, go to the 'owner' and tell her.
Makes sense to me, but I know a lot of you may not have the "COMMON SENSE"!!! Just a Suggestion!!!:) |

These are people who have no management skills. If you're taking baked goods to a farmers market you make enough for the store, too. Sell out of something every day and you start making more. Wanting to run a bakery and being able to do so are apparently very different.

This seems to be true of almost all the eateries in the area. No clue as to how to run the business, and at the same time, don't really want customer feedback, which would most likely result in both repeat and new business. Disappointing.

Anybody have an update on Libby's? Did they figure out how to run a good retail business?

I don't think it's going well. Not a great idea for Ti. Ti needs something more like a sporting goods store--hunting, fishing.

Go to Norm's Bail & Tackle on the Bridge Road. Support local bussiness in the area. |
