CHESTER -- An Albany man died Tuesday afternoon in a car-motorcycle accident on the Northway near Exit 26, according to State Police.

Thomas M. Genovese, 38, was pronounced dead at Glens Falls Hospital after the 12:20 p.m. crash in the northbound lanes north of Exit 26, officials said.

State Police believe he collided with the back of a car driven by Joshua Jaenisch, 30, of Crown Point, causing Genovese to lose control of the Suzuki motorcycle and be thrown from it.

Genovese suffered leg and internal injuries, and was taken to the hospital by North Warren Emergency Squad.

No tickets were issued and the circumstances of the crash were still under investigation Wednesday

Just think. Had the DA and BCI not cut this guy the sweetheart "queen for a day" deal he got for all the heroin he got caught with he would have been in jail or rehab at the moment and this accident would have not happend..Even though it appears at the moment it's not his fault and he was the one that was hit by the motorcycle. Sometimes people are just better off in jail or rehab Kristy!
