ADDISON — Vermont State Police said they broke up an illegal “tattoo party” in the town of Addison and ordered a Ticonderoga, N.Y., man into criminal court for tattooing and piercing in Vermont without a license.

James St. Dennis, 29, of Ticonderoga is due for arraignment Sept. 23 in Vermont Superior Court in Middlebury, state police said.

Trooper Kaitlyn Knight-Armstrong said troopers responded to the tattooing party complaint at a residence on Crown Point Road at about 1:30 p.m. She said investigation led to St. Dennis being ordered into court.
