Voter, c'mon now. Deb's not a witch! In fact she's a charming, lovely person who does care very much about this town. What she didn't have is the education, skills, and experience she needed to be effective. That doesn't make her bad - certainly not a witch. Just ineffective as a supervisor. That's not a crime. She has courage - that's for sure! You don't do what she did, meaning run for office (in a town known for eating its own) and stick her neck out so we can sling axes at her- without tremendous courage.
I, for one, haven't that kind of courage. I hide behind anonymity here. Just like you.

It seems every election is always a choice between the evil of two(or more)lessers.
We did get one thing this time, and that's change.
Not always a good thing, but there it is.

Mr. G is going to have a rude awakening when he discovers he is not king of Ticonderoga and, indeed, is only one of 5 votes on the Town Board. I don't believe he has the temperament to be assertive without coming-off as a bully.

Who did Chattie and Fred replace? I think Steve Whitford is one, but who is the other one? Good luck to all

Why

Why would someone without the education, experience, skills, etc. run for election where they clearly do not having what it takes from the beginning? "Caring" for a town does not make you a good candidate either. Being able to make some money in one business venture does not make anyone a worthy town manager/supervisor.

The middle school mindset of this town is so disappointing and discouraging.

And I suppose all the under the table, executive session,back-door bull-crap is more to your liking? At least with new blood,"common blue-collar blood" at that, the taxpayer might have some representation.Just as an example, look at the water and sewer rate increase coming soon, figure out the percentage that it's increasing, now figure how many years it takes for your wages to increase the same percentage. It takes about a decade for my wages to increase that same percentage ,think the current administration considered that? think they care? Ti is a small town with a mill, some summer people, and some struggling retirees, sadly we are called on to fund the "delusions of grandeur"Of those in charge and they all seem to have a "dog in the fight". If we don't reign in the waste and excess soon we will have an infrastructure the size of Queensbury for a population that can neither afford or utilize it !
LOVE IT

It seems to be a board that will represent all taxpayers. It is well diversified. Looking forward to seeing what they can accomplish in the coming year.

Most people don't understand what it takes to be a good leader. When working with a board, legislative committee, etc., if a leader is to be successful, he must work behind the scenes selling individual members on what he or she wants to accomplish and know where the members stand before the meeting. Show me a leader who does not use intimidation at times when necessary and you will be showing me a weak leader. Bill was a successful business man. People who lack leadership, sales and management skills, are not a success in business. Before judging, see what he is able to accomplish.

"Intimidation" sounds a LOT like bullying! Which is exactly what we tell our children not to do. Do as I say and not as I do.

Well, guess what? Sometimes people who "intimidate" end up on the wrong end of their bullying. That people of Ti--the ones that care any longer, that is--have had enough of plain stupidity and more than enough of "intimidation." Watch and see.

why you ask. its simple the $$$ Money and the free insurance this town is one of very few that pays for all the ins.. for the board members an the superviser with no cost to them at all. where some of the worker pay a portion of the ins.. the board geats it free or they can take a buy out of $3000 or so. and then you have WAYNE TAYLOR who can take the county buy out and the towns buy out an use his wifes ins an put all the money in his pocket pretty good gig for him. thers one thing that could save us tax payers some money stop giving the board free ins

Board members are already bending to his will.

Hang on to your wallets - this may become costly.

Big difference between running a contractor business with 3 or 4 employees and running a town! He was a skilled builder, I'll give him that, but a people person he is not. Thinks he is way better than everyone else, always has....arrogant, conceited and condescending. His own son couldn't stand to work for him and quit!
