Volunteers needed

Ticonderoga, NY

#2 Nov 19, 2012
You seem to have lots of time on your hands..the local nursing homes, schools, libraries and civic organizations could use help. Instead of sending negative energy into the world try sending some positive energy. You may end up feeling better about yourself at the same time.

Rite Aid
...and now someone mentioned the hospital/nursing home???
I think we SHOULD talk about it. And put a stop to it. Unless of course, we want our community to continue to go down the trashy path that it has been for a while. SOME OF US CARE!

There was a time when RiteAid seemed to care about their reputation. In fact, didn't they once ask a manager to work in another one of their stores because he started a relationship with a co-worker??

So now what? They've become another one of Ti's famous loser stores? What a shame. I just don't think that it has to be that way. Where IS their district manager??

Face it. There are just a lot of people here who would rather look the other way than face the truth. It's hard to face the truth sometimes, and they are not up to the task. Don't have what it takes at all. They would rather say "Cut the crap." and bury their heads. Because it's easy and cheap. Very sad...

Must be nice to be the one person who knows the whole truth about everyone else's business and lives.
You must be a very special person....how fortunate for you.

Will you stop this, I have been coming to this town for many years and I love that store. The manager, employees and pharmacy staff are courteous and seem to enjoy the the work the do. It is nice to go to a store where people are happy.

What we should have appreciated was the businesses we had downtown. Families who have lived here for generations ran those stores and knew us as friends and family. But, some people just had to have Walmart and look what happened. Now, everyone complains about Walmart, prices too high, pay is too low. Well, of course! Walmart never pretends to be a great employer. There's not even a real grocery store in town any more.

As for RiteAid, Bob was the only good thing they ever had going! The ONLY thing. It's really too bad that he had to leave. Other than that, it's just another big box store, with your usual big box store workers, just like Walmart.
