I am no great fan of the Treadway family, but I hear left and right that their business dynasty is crashing. Ti Oil won't even answer the phone! The Pub is dark and silent. I hear the car wash is going to be sold. This is a disaster for this town if it's true. Ti can't afford to lose this much. I also heard (and this is hearsay - be careful guys, because rumors hurt innocent people) that HEAP money was embezzled. How much is true?
Please, tell me none of it is true. We need thriving businesses in town!
Hopefully

I for another, know of more than one person that he has essentially 'screwed' & kept $$ that was built up as credit.
When the business was approached about this, they of course did the usual cover your ass b.s & sent the person a $100.00 check thinking (on Treadways part) it was settled.
The amount of credit built up was over $1,000.00. HMmm .. something doesnt add up. The person's still owed money....
More phone calls and visits to their business & a threat to file suit in small claims court will hopefully produce some results for this person. The businesses have been run into the ground. They monies spent. Claims of females being drugged at his Pub, people being ripped off.. and many other things all = BAD business!
All good things come to those who wait. With any luck, KARMA will be taking a big bite out of your ass SOON! You can't continually rip off/steal money from your customers and get away with it. I for one will NOT contribute any of my money at ANY of his not-so-fine- establishments.

Embezzlment of state / federal funds? HEAP money pocketed?
Enjoy prison, Jeremy! Don't bend over to pick up any soap.
Oh, make note that he got PRIDE money to paint The Pub, and now his little brother's house is painted the same colors. What a funny coincidence!

If there is a lawsuit against them I would like in on it. At least enough to get my money back on the fuel they didn't deliver but charged me for. I had 100 gallons of fuel delivered and got no receipt or anything. 5 days later I'm out of fuel???? I don't thinks so. Not even in the worst furnace would I go through that much fuel when I keep the thermostat at no higher than 68 degrees. We had to go through last night's low temps with nothing more than an electric heater to try to heat 2 bedrooms and a living room. If anyone knows any way I can get some fuel somewhere and pay it later or something, please let me know. I have no more money and don't get paid til next week. I also no longer qualify for HEAP so that option is out as well. If anyone can help, thanks.

Tonight is going to be 20 below zero. Do you have children in the home? Try calling a local supplier, Deyo or Mountain Petro. Good luck to you. Maybe try putting kerosene in for tonight....

I had issues with them. Missing Heap money etc. As soon as I alerted Heap to this they immediatley took action- threatening to retract the amount from them that was not delivered. Heap had me switch to Avery. I explained to the lady at treadways I was pregnant with a small child at home and no heat- It was when the temps dropped last time to below zeros. Their reply was - even uf you get emergency heap it wont matter right now bc we can not deliver for 3 days. Heap called them- And funny enough I had 30 gallons delivered that day from treadways... Funny how they had changed their minds about being able to deliver. I switched to Avery and in less than 5 hours I had fuel delivered. I am not tooting their horn- nor am I out to get treadways but as a customer I was sick of being treated like a peasant.

A large amount of working couples qualify for HEAP and they do apply for the assistance therefore enabling them to pay their other bills.

Many others who qualify for HEAP are our senior citizens who paid their share of taxes before retirement. It is a shame any business would reap the benefits of the program and treat our seniors as reported recently.I for one will go out of my way to get my gas and services from this point forward.

NY joins 10 other states in the facts that more people are on welfare than work.
They can bitch about their heat but maybe they should get a husband before popping out a few kids and wanting everybody else to pay for their food, rent, heat, medical and dental.
Don't be so fast to yank those pants down for every man you meet.
