Why do they waste our tax money and send out paper copies in the us mail yet!! More tax dollars wasted. I thought we were trying to cut costs? Why not just send the calendars home with the little ones in the first place as another option-- at least that would save costs-- those with no kids in school could not care less anyway!!!

SAVE MONEY--- STOP THE WASTE FOLKS! LOWER OUR TAXES and stay within your means..

(no comment on those high salaries now...) That's another topic.

there are local folks that have grandchildren or friends children, or even enjoy going to watching the games.

At least they no longer send out the bus schedules, names and phone numbers of all the children to everyone in town.

the calendars were originally cut from the school budget this year (along with MANY other things, including a chunk of the teachers' salaries). Someone donated the money to have them printed and mailed because they're pretty darn useful. It cost the school nothing.

Are the skool calenders going to have the same number of days in the month as they did last year?
I think if it's a leap year, some months only have 25 days and others have 33.

My boy is a chip off the ol' block. He learned to read last year and this year he is a sophmore. I keep telling him to not quit school right now, just to become a teacher.

Shadow, my post was meant to be sarcasm. Read the very first post. Who doesn't know how to spell calendar? I am a writer and it irks me to see people write at a 4th grade level. Forgive me if I sound ostentatious.

Sarcasm only gets you so far, as what Chuck Berry says: "You got to roll with it baby"

I rolled down Chilson Hill once and didn't stop until I reached Whitehall.
