Frederick man, 71, killed in crash

A 71-year-old Frederick man was killed in a two-vehicle crash near Emmitsburg yesterday afternoon, State Police said.

I am sorry for the loss of life and tramatic effect to the family in this incident. As I drive about the area I note all too often that people seem unsure/confused whenever some decision making is involved, such as four way stop sign and yield intersections. Drivers MUST pay more attention and NOT assume others will simply MAKE WAY for them in such situations, when in fact they themselves are creating the dangers.
