I used to read this blog, but it got too goofy and depressing, I guess. At long last I came back to it and was inspired by a couple of recent comments! Steve G., I'll long remember you winning your 1600 heat down at Urbana and the pure joy of the accomplishment. Joe L., I remember when you couldn't walk and chew gum at the same time, yet you became a medal-winning relay-hurdler! A sincere best wishes to both of you as you persevere through your lives. Max F., if you ever read this, you were probably my favorite student of all time--hope your Mom's doing well too! Leymond, you were easily in my top five students of all time, and I wish you all the best as well--say hi to Walter who I do keep in touch with. To all others who've tried to move on positively--Fred L.(remember the Rolling Stones?), Alex E., Tony, Mike D., and last-but-not-least Makwan(I'll never forget your 3200 points at Linganore that broke the tie for us!!)I couldn't be more sincere in hoping you all live productive and prosperous lives from now on. Oh by the way, BBP's the only place I ever wanted to teach so I've rejoined the business world--accounting/inventory-ty pe of stuff, and it's going pretty well! This is the one and only time I'll do this blog, so I do wish my best to all and God Bless. Try to live the purest ideals of "the Brook" and what we wanted to represent. Sincerely, Coach.

I just found this by chance and see the name Joe K come up. Wow, thanks for the deep belly laughs Joe. How long did you wait to get a point to feel in a position of power?
I worked with Joe for over a year very close, i will never believe any word that comes out of his mouth. Oh, and Joe, I have never seen you restrained without you getting agressive!
Another perspective on some staff. I worked in Baltimore last year and ran into several former students at the harbor. Everyone of them ran up to me and thanked for helping them get into college, get a job, and showing them a different way of living. These students wanted a better life and tried to get a better life. The problem with students like Joe is that he never wanted to change, wanted to continue on his negative ways, be physically assualtive, steal, and do some other nasty things.
Has it ever been talked about in here that the student had an enlarged heart?
I left the program because i didn't like where it was going. Mark, Jesse, Jim, Jason, Matt were terrible. I have met people that formerly worked with Shadi, it's sad that he alined himself with mark. It was sad to hear about Mr. PJ. He was only worried about the kids and still feels terrible about what has happen and he wasn't even involved in it.
