But he did something else during his keynote address at the annual luncheon of the Savannah Economic Development Authority, which he knocked out of the park.

Yea yea, I know this SEEMS like republicans cooperating with Reed, but there's a LOT more to it. First of all, Savannah's mayor is politically worthless, no connections outside of the county. Local republicans know this all too well. It's part of why the harbor is still too shallow for the big ships that make so much money for Jacksonville.

Reed on the other hand has a pipeline to Obama that could funnel all the money needed to deepen the harbor. So what's the catch? The republicans have to be willing to take a dive so Reed can become governor of Georgia. That's all. Nothing major right?

Of course the farmers, who are accustomed to running the governor's office, will not be happy about watching their influence go down the toilet and will rebel. So someone will have to come up with a bribe for them as well.

Where does this leave the rest of Georgia? Reed says they'll be in safe neighborhoods with good jobs. Oh happy days are here again. Just vote for Reed. Look how well he's run Atlanta. Look at Atlanta's safe neighborhoods and plentiful jobs. Just imagine the whole state as a mirror of Atlanta. Won't it be great?

I was able to grasp how ineffective Mayor Mohammad Reid was when the ghetto thugs shot up the Varsity. He ran the Jr. Varsity out of Atlanta because he wanted to show the owner he could control her, didn't work and now he has lost millions in taxes because of his actions. He can't control the ghetto thugs in Atlanta, and the conventions have almost stopped coming to Atlanta. He is not worthy of running Atlanta much less our beloved state. Hey, I'm white and a native of Georgia, so you know what I am.
