ha ha pilot error just like the hospital they should do more mandatory drug test cuz yea they are HIGH

and jwill...grow up...you know NOTHING about aviation....you have no idea what goes into keeping our skies safe. The hospital issue was a simple error. Afterall...pilots...like everyone else on the planet...are allowed human error. Fortunately it does not happen very often. So just go back in your hole and live in ignorance.

"Plane down", as written in the headline, makes it sound like a crash. "Emergency Landing", which is what the article says it was, seems more appropriate in this case.

The pilot was probably talking on his cell phone and not paying attention to all those dials and buttons.

Cell phones don't work in airplanes very well so he wasn't on his phone.

It's called night IMC in the winter, which leads to icing. His plane became a popcicle and wasn't able to stay in the air anymore so he had to do an emergancy landing. End of story.

Flying takes skill, and you have to be focused to land a plane with 2 inches of ice built up on it and not crash.

The NTSB records are now online. This pilot was way behind the weather conditions and this airplane.
