I've emailed the company several times to no avail. Wondering what there future plans are as far as wireless internet. What have your dealings been like?

We have had them for 3 years now and I can honestly say their customer service stinks! If we had another choice of providers (which we don't due to our rural location) we would not be with Rural Communications.

Its not just their customer service that stinks, its the WHOLE company! they can't keep employees there, wireless is constantly out, they over charge, and then dont easily give credits, they are horrible!

I absolutley think their service is wonderful. Yeah, at times we are without but they jump right up and correct the issue. I will never go back to Verizon.

We have had lots of issues with them. Service is terrible, their contracts auto renew so its nearly impossible to leave them without paying lots of money. If there were other high speed internet services available to us we would switch.

I am going on week 4 (yeah, that's no typo) of having to use dialup since their wireless connection has been down. They don't return phone calls and it is extremely difficult to get a credit for the lack of service.

I am so frustrated that even with dialup I am spreading the word at a blog - slowlanebroadband.wordpress.com . I don't want others to become their customer if they can avoid it.

I have contacted the Better Business Bureau and am working on complaint to Attorney General Michael Cox in MI. To get rid of this horrible company they tac on a fee Of $895 stating they want their equipment back which I sent in the same day. Still refuse to take off charges. They have discontined people without notice which they have replied "It was out of our control"..
Anyone interested in getting in on a Class Action Lawsuit?

I am so glad to have gotten away from Rural Communications! I had their service for over 3 years and when I wanted to cancel they tried to charge a fee to "be released" as they had renewed my term of service "automatically" without notice to me. I was misled, lied to, and had HORRIBLE service. This is not even going into the horrors with their customer service and billing! RUN AWAY FAST!! from Rural Communications!

I am interested in joining. What about the damage their deserted towers are causing on your roof. Anyone else have a problem with the deserted tower on their roof.

They need to be removed and they have created damage they "forgot to mention". I believe their would be quite a few deserted towers in the mendon, leonidas, centreville area that would be in need of roof repair.

I tried to work with them to get my service corrected and it was always the same excuse and when you ask for a credit that suits the loss of service they will deny even when you have been told you will receive it.

I think a lawsuit to repair everyone's roof is in order for this awful company.

I have been working in Telecommunications and Networking for over 15 years. I have yet to see a company so poorly run and with such poor service. I have dealt with companies that have had their service and they have suffered from not having service. Rural Communications does not respond in an effective manor, nor do they have the support staff.

I would and do recommend dial-up before using Rural Communications for ANY reason.

Rural Communications has horrible customer service. We connected with them when we first moved to TR. No one ever answers the phone, even during busines hours, no one returns phone calls, they don't answer emails, and then when you finally take time off work to go into the building, they tell you they've never received any communications from you or your husband! We finally left after six months of the horrible service of never having internet or being able to call because our phone service was intermittent. I'll pay the extra for a well-known company.

Do you have cell phone service where you are? If so call Dennis Castle at Millenicom (800-996-1285) and he will set you up with an air card that will out perform Rural.

I worked for the company and it was worse on the inside. They had people leaving left and right. Having their WORST employees in leader postions. Customer service was non exist when you only have a handful of poeple who really cared about the customers. The company's mother company was no better either.........

I used to work for them, as well. I was in the IT industry a good decade when I went to work for them and was treated like I was a five year old. They put me under the supervision of a bunch of gabby middle-aged women who had zero technical knowledge. I quit after being there barely two months. There were some good people there but when you base a high tech company in a deteriorating, small town, you're not going to attract the best talent...

This Ludwig guy is BAD news. He is better known for his art of being a con artist. Check out his dealing with ESBI, ZPDI, who is owned by Billing Services Group, Inc. He used their billing resources to cram and slam thousands of so called customer who never authorized the transfer of their service to his list of fraudulent companies. The "talent" mentioned or lack thereof within his office is precisely what he wants. If he hired people with a lick of sense they would turn his ass over to the authorities. His time is running out. TRUST me !!!! Tralee Communications dba Tralee Telephone Company fraudulently passed on charges via USBI through Billing Services Group of San Antonio, Tx. The FTC is in the process of rounding these clowns up. Mr Ludwig has a 20 year history of committing fraud and abuse of customers and employees alike. His legacy is sealed. THIEF!

Some day sooner than later, Jerry Ludwig will be sitting in jail wondering how all this "activity" finally caught up with him. He's a busy guy. He filed false documents to obtain all of that grant money that was squandered for his personal use in addition to supporting his predisposition for porn addiction. It explains why he was using USBI to cram telephone bills with fraudulent charges billed as "adult" related. Jerry Ludwig has a long history of drug and alcohol abuse which will probably be his defense when he appears in criminal court. Mail Fraud. Money laundering. Wire fraud. Theft by deception. Theft by conversion. Contract fraud. Conspiracy to commit fraud against the state and federal government. Tax evasion...?

All I can say is EVERY person who has left that company over the past 7 plus years have gone on to share their stories with the authorities. Don't be surprised if you are contacted to assist in putting this idiot away for a long time.
