Alpine windows are made by Alside. All window brochures make the windows look great. Low end vinyl quality and Alside service is non-existent. You get what you pay for.

Just purchased and Alpine sliding door. Well, it looks great, but after 4 days, it is showing moisture in between the panes. Not a good sign. I will be contacting my supplier Monday. More to come......

Alpine vinyl windows are made by Alside and I have found out they don't have service in Southern California. Alside sells Alpine through window dealers that should do the service but they don't have to. Al side gives the dealer a set rate to fix the problem. Problem is the window dealer doesn't have to fix it. I read the warranty and it says Alside can just pay the labor rate in the area. Who sets this rate?

I'm currently looking for a replacement sash for an Alpine windows unit. Phone support is horrible. The local dealer that they referred to us never returned a phone call. This is on a 5-year old window. I would assume that any cost savings today will be lost to poor quality and even poorer support down the road.

I would never buy Alpine windows.

I installed Alpine in 1995. Now they have big problems and need parts and service. When Alside bought Alpine they dropped the Lifetime Guarantees prior to their purchase. They changed design and refuse to honor the original Alpine guarantee. I'm stuck with buying new windows/doors. Don't trust what Alside tells you!

stay away!! we bought conservatory 8mnths ago and have had nothing but trouble. End clips on roof came off, big gap left at side of doors, not sealed internally properly and roof is now leaking. I was pleased to start with because they did everything very quickly and got paid in full but its a nightmare trying to get in touch with them to get it all sorted. good luck x x

We have a whole housing development of Alpine Windows that have failed completely in less that 5 years. In some cases the frames have completely rusted through because of the poor design. Their warranty is useless. Alpine's parent company creates dozens of shell companies that sell defective windows then file bankruptcy then reappear. I have a dozen pictures of horribly windows. They don't just loose their seal they fall apart. Ridiculous!

I found out that Associated Materials owns Alpine windows and Westbridge windows. I can't find out any information on Westbridge online. I believe it is sold as a private label window. I am worried about the warranty. Anyone have any experience with Westbridge vinyl windows?

Westbridge vinyl windows are a lower end vinyl window product. Associated Materials just changed the name so people can't find information on the window. Sears sells Westbridge windows as their own brand. Sears markets the Westbridge as a high end vinyl window. The warranty is through who you buy the window from not Associated Materials. If you look at the Westbridge window brochure you will see the name Asscociated Materials. Ask to see the warranty if you are concerned.

several of my 10 year old Alpine windows have seals failing allowing condensation to build up between the panes. Called the company to inquire about the warranty and was told there was not one. They told me this even before i told themthe age or model of the window. My opinion cheap window with no intention of honoring a warranty. They could not even refer my to someone who could repair them.

We have Alpine windows through Alside and are completely happy with the product. We have had our windows for over 12 years and haven't had any problems with them. As with any product or company I'm sure there are some issues, but not all of their products are defective, and not all of their customers are unhappy. If there are only 13 complaints over a 30+ year period of time then that to me is a good sign. I would recommend them all the way!!!

I purchased my westbridge elite windows about 5 years ago and have had great success. The only warranty issue i needed was when our neighbors child hit the window with his baseball and the glass cracked. The company i purchased my windows from came out and replaced the glass for free.

I'm considering buying Alpine windows, 80 series. I noticed that the lifetime warranty only applies to windows manufactured in Bothell WA or Yuma AZ after Dec, 2008. Are these windows manufactured elsewhere thereby negating the warranty?

Im trying to decide between Alpine vinyl windows and Silver Line vinyl windows. Silver Line is made by Anderson. The Alpine windows are 200.00 less then the Silver Line. Also im looking into the American Craftsman vinyl window also by Anderson which is 200.00 more then the Silver Line. I got the estimates from 3 different contractors and its for 17 windows. Any advise or feedback will be appreciated.
Thank you

What did you end up buying?
Because most of the home builders in EL Paso are using Alpine.

I've been researching Alpine Windows after some very deceptive and unethical presentation at our HOA Meeting. Owned by Associated Materials Inc. proceeded with lie after lie but offered siding and windows very cheap. Alpine Windows went bankrupt over too many complaints in NE. Bought by Assoc. Materials and 'rebranded'. We'd already picked a contractor and Assoc. Materials called him and said he was out and they were now doing the job - another lie and highly unethical and unprofessional. I would nevr trust any business using these tactics. There are several other window companies in the area with great reputations and competitive pricing. Alpine also sketchy about that too.
