So because your kid ran out into traffic, you're going to sue everyone you can? What a joke to make a buck off your kids death! I think the parents should've been arrested for neglect since they weren't watching their kids at the bus stop, knowing their kid had an issue with running into the road before the bus driver gave the ok to cross! Like usual it's always easier to blame someone else for action the parents didn't do!

My heart goes out to the parents of this child for their tragic loss, however this is what is known as ""making the best out of a bad situation"", right????? Hope the settlement (and there will be a settlement) brings their child back to them. Looks like the ambulance chasers (the real winners here) got to the parents in time.

Maybe they have to so that the medical and funeral bills are covered. And her insurance will more than likely pay what ever the amount is if the parents win.Just saying and that was a mean way of making your point!

I know for a fact that the funeral was paid for by a church in college corner and the money that was raised during the benefit was used for medical bills and other bills they had. Not sure legally they can sue since those bills were already covered. I know it is a terrible situation but it was an awful ACCIDENT.

Did you morons ever once consider that maybe any funds won through a law suit could be used to provide the necessary counseling for the sister who WATCHED HER BROTHER BE HIT BY A CAR???

How date any of you judge these ppl??? I challenge one of you to lie to yourself by saying that you've never let your children out of your sight for one minute!! Arrested!?! Really!?! I'm fairly certain that his parents, the driver of the bus and the car would GLADLY do a little time in jail if it would heal this family & return this beautiful child to the world. Of all the ridiculous lawsuits in the world & on TV, these ppl deserve the money to seek the treatment they will all need!

Everyone is always out to seek money at the drop of a hat! It's one thing when a child wonders away but they were made aware that their child had an issue of running into the road on more than one occasion! Again if the parents would've done thier part this wouldn't be happening!

It was a horrible accident. Everyone is going to have to live with this for the rest of their lives. God had a plan for this child, and for his sister(there is a reason she seen this). A law suit is not going to change God's plan. All it will do is create more hurting that is not needed. I am sure everyone involved wishes they had done something a little different that terrible day. I pray this family and everyone else this accident has effected finds peace and forgiveness.
