sounds like small town politics to me. they dont like him and maybe he is a pain in the rear...but thats his right and if he wants to post his opinion on his house thats his right as well. im astonished that thorntown could be so petty as to go out of their way to to try and keep an opinion thats not theirs from public view. as hard as their trying to keep him quiet id say that he must hit the nail on the head on some of his messeges. yet another case of our own tax money being used against us!!!

No one wants to live near a dump, and its creating a traffic hazard. Take them down.

Work for the city and you can keep your signs and no fines.Maybe he thinks his home won't be taxed as high as all of us.

Stu Showalter has always been a PIA. He's an ex-con. He got caught with a sawed-off shotgun and a silencer in his possession. He did time in a federal prison for those.

He also got in trouble in Florida for throwing a water bottle thru the window of a car while he was riding his bicycle.

He's never learned to play well with others. He goes out of his way to find trouble.

His mom must be so proud.

Not so long ago I read about a terrible crime that involved a man who, " declared war on his city councel for parking tickets". I suspect that a fine of 2.5 mil might envoke some more sour feelings. Try thinking of another way to deal with his "mental health" issues. His previously well documented anti-establishment behavior might be all you need to have him declared a danger to himself and others. Just keep him in Fishers where he belongs! Thanks

Damn indiana, take away his social security too while you are at it. Leave this poor guy alone, he just does not like the way you do things and is protesting as legally as he knows how, leave him alone.!!!

Isn't all that either. Keep your comments to yourself - Thorntown has a lot of small town charm - but you probably wouldn't recognize it if it hit ya in the face.
Have you even seen the arts district? Eaten at Snookey' those things and THEN tell me you know Thorntown - but until then....mind your own.

On the child support comment, I'm with Stu on the courts in Boone County.
They are extremly one sided.
My X and my new husband have shown me how corrupt and one sided the Courts are when it comes to a dad, good or bad, they are treated like sh*#, Todd M. lets this go on without ever responding to questions from " good dad's " on why this is going on and why.
If Bart Simpson was running against Todd M. this next election........I know myself and friends would vote for Bart!

No one seemed to mind until the sign went up that read "Child Sex Ring - Guess who is involved" and the pentagram was painted on the house. Then town judge Don Vaughn complained about it to Council President Gary Jones who told Marshal Woodard to cite me for it. I was NEVER cited for junk. I was cited for signs and vegetation. Particluarly, all vegetation over 12 inches in height including trees, bushes and flowers. I believe the law concerning people slowing down on a roadway is covered by I.C. 35-43-2-4 obstruction of traffic. Anyone who doesn't like constitutional freedoms should move. I am a Wiccan, go complain about crosses being put up too.

P.S. Todd Meyer is a liar, like the sign said. Child Support has never been paid off because it was an illegal order and charge. The charge was dismissed because I threatened to reveal corruption by Judge David and Todd Meyer. Is Meyer saying that he accepts money to drop an invasion of privacy charge. Maybe that had something to do with then Sheriff Brannon commenting about the State's witness saying "[she] is a liar!"
