This is a great idea. The present system of forcing pedestrians, school children, and handicap to walk and ride in the streets is a dangerous situation. Cars travel too fast for these narrow roads and are not able to stop in time. Then it is claimed to be an accident. When these roads were made cars and horses and buggies used them. Today the buggies are gone and the roads need to meet the needs of their present use. Wider means safer for everyone.
