Just curiuos, but has anyone studied the CAUSE of these suicides? Like maybe the Indians have nothing to live for. They don't even OWN the land they are living on. Maybe giving them some hope that they can achieve the American dream, rather than the federal government trying to compensate for past transgressions, might help reduce suicides.

So its now illegal to off yourself? What will they do to you if you ignore the law, jail your relatives?

Actually, it's been illegal for quite some time to commit suicide.
Weird isn't it? A suicide attempt SHOULD be an indication of depression and a medical condition that is treatable. Instead, it's a crime. I guess it's considered as murdering yourself. The government likes to poke it's nose into just about everything. Also interesting that they allow murder in the form of abortion, but not killing yourself. One would think that abortion advocates would also be suicide advocates too. Where is Dr. Kevorkian when you need him?:-)

She's so busy traveling to sign these bills for photo ops that she's not going to get them all signed by the deadline.

Maybe, someday, perhaps if there is ever any funding available, the state will do something. But until then Tejana Susana has her photo-op. B*F*D!

And the anti-abortion cultists throw puppycrap into the mix with their inane, insane, and deranged rantings and unrrelated bu!!sh!t.
