I've always respected the Dine and Hillerman's books gave more insight to their culture. His books also made me wonder about my culture and how it related to Tewa, Tiwa & Towa peoples. Finally, his books gave me an appreciation of how my culture has been able to coexist with our Indian Brothers for 500 years.
