Incumbents big winners in council races
Another 23 incumbents did not survive Tuesday's primary. In most cases, the delegates who lost were edged out - or flattened - by other incumbents.

There is an unfair advantage out there for those few honest, hard-working incumbents who did not make it on the ballot. The unfair advantage is that "its who you know and what you can expect in return". I attended a local fair/parade not to long ago and unfortunately learned that the candidate I had supported was tied to a notorious unsavory individual who was supporting the candidate by using monetary and material means NOT meant for political gain. When I learned the candidate which I once had supported had those ties "my candidate became questionable." If my candidate chooses to rub elbows with the likes of immoral crafty people, then I need to re-evaluate my choice.
For those who had honestly worked hard to get on the ballot without soliciting the wrong people I appauld you. Stay moral, stay focused. Even if you didnt get on the ballot you still have your dignity and moral attributes which make you an exceptional human being. To the likes of my once candidate of choice: "you no longer stand for the people but have sadly shifted your focus on yourself". The promises you made to those people will be your downfall.
