I'll tell you what, even if the kid Apple pushed head first into a wall deserved it, he can't do that nowadays!

If it were my kid, and he deserved what he got, I think it would be my job as a parent to fan his @ss. That's what's wrong today, if you smack your kid it's abuse. BS!! i grew up when if you got out of line you got fanned. Not getting your head pushed into a wall but you got your @ss smacked.

That's the parents job. Apple's job is to assign school related punishment and tell the parents.

If Apple did that to my kid, I'd beat the living h3ll out of Ed Apple.

Some of these young druggie punks need their head shoved into the wall to knock some sense into their head.

Although I'm sure the kid did something to provoke this type of attack, teachers/administration cannot react as they would like to in situations like this. Kids "these days" have this sense of unearned entitlement. They get away with so much b/c there are some parents that allow it and actually promote it. If I came home from school and told my Dad that the principal "shoved my head into the wall", my Dad would say "Well, what did you do wrong?" It starts at home folks...respect and discipline. I could never be a teacher, as I would probably be fired on my first day.

But this couldn't have come at a worse time for JCSD. The tax issues, now this...

The punk probably had it coming. With the way these "entitled" brats disrespect authority figures, I'm not surprised. Sure, it starts in the home, but I bet that student learned his lesson when he got his ass handed to him when he messed with the wrong guy. This is life. Next time, it might be out on the street and someone will mess him up worse or even kill him. Then what? Kids need to learn one way or the other.

Bullshit. It's my job as a parent to handle my son in that matter. If I did something wrong at school growing up, my dad kicked my ass and rightfully so. At school, I got swats which never hurt but just embarrassed you. Someone touches my kid like that, they get it in return. They can give him suspension and detention to their hearts content but it's my hands that meets my kid's mouth.

You punch your kid in the mouth? Wow, father of the year, you're a jackass. You're even struggling to sound literate. I can only hope that he doesn't take a cue from you and beat the shit out of his kids. Nothing wrong with corporal punishment, but hitting him in the mouth? You might get it in return some day, so keep your guard up, asshole.

No need to be offended there, Cletus. I'm just saying that sometimes a punk wins a fight, more often, he f*cks with someone he shouldn't have f*cked with and, deservedly, gets the living crud beaten out of him. This instance was the latter.

Good to see justice prevailed here, and all charges against the principal have been dropped.

Hopefully, this disrespectful young man learned a valuable lesson. I noticed that the mother had a different last name than the kid. That tells you a lot right there.

It tells me that this young man comes from a broken home and that he has not been raised by a married mother and father. We've come to accept this situation as normal, SNAFU. There is no mention of the father in the Sentinel article. That is sad, don't you think?

Coming from a broken home, this young man is far more likely to be a dropout, drug user, wife abuser, child abuser, criminal, etc., than someone raised in a loving family with a supportive mom and dad with the same last name.

Now don't get defensive. Of course there are plenty of kids that turn out great that come from broken homes.

Mr. Apple is to be commended for attempting to install some sense in this young man.

Hey WOW, you stupid ass! I never said I would punch my kid in the mouth. It's people like YOU that cause these problems.

I said MY hand to my kid's mouth. He'd get a slap across the face like most of us got growing up.

How's your foot taste idiot?

I noticed that it took you over a month to come up with such an eloquent response. You amuse me. Can you count past 8? Granted, you've probably been busy trying to think of the perfect insult, dipping snuff, and heading to your Klan meetings, but man...

Truth is, I'd give Apple a medal. I've been to that school, and the way some of those kids act is reprehensible (that means bad). I'd have kicked the living redneck shit out of him, too. No doubt it comes from home, when they have backward thinking white trash as parents. You seem to fit that bill, and I can only hope your kid turns out better than you. It wouldn't be hard, DICKHEAD.

Stupid parents raise stupid kids and then send them into the school system and make teachers and such "educate them".
Good luck with that.
I had a teacher slap me and knock me to the ground... BECAUSE I DESERVED IT ! I was a young boy and she said "if you ever do that again I'm calling your parents".(I pulled a chair out front under a girl while she was sitting down as a joke).
It scared the hell out of me. I wasn't angry at the teacher.. I was terrified she was going to tell my parents.
Today, it'a all about parents trying to be "friends" with there kids instead of raising them.
My Mom and Dad would have beat my (|)raw if they had known I did something so stupid.
Now days... kids run home to parents and cry and say "look what they did to me".. and the parents cave.
The parents need to grow the hell up.
To this day I am glad that old Miss McDon'tmesswithme did what she did... because if she had called my folks I'm not sure I would be typing this.
I Love my parents too.
They are where the rubber hits the road.
Some modern parents blame other for their kids behavior rather then own it.
What a shame.

Why is this man still allowed around children? He has been causing problems with children in the schools since the mid 1990's that is why he is at JHS. He isn't even allowed to be an athletic director because he was to much of an butt hole.
