Well I would imagine that they couldn't light their drinking water on fire before. That might be proof!

Actually, my grandfather used to tell me when he was a child they could light turn on the water and gas would come out that they could set on fire.

Yes, I do agree we have had isolated problems with it. But by far never had such issues widespread. I'm just saying balance on both sides is an issue. You can hammer a believe either way to convince someone that its true. But if we are real about it, we truly never had these many complaints that had facts to back them up.

here we go again, the same people who where more than happy to except a check for their land are now the ones to complain, if this was such a problem then why did everyone sign the lease, i do not believe they had gones when asked if you wanted to lease the land, and get paid for it. we all new what drilling was and it didnt stop anyone from signing the leases. You did to yourselves, the almighty dollar was important. i am sure everyone was smiling while spending their share of the small fortune. its the price we pay

as a conservative: don't do it/put it in your mouth until proven to be safe!

simple. why take dumb risks -- just because some big company tells you to, and maybe gives you a few bucks?

let big biz fight its own fights -- at least let them pay you and your grandkids enough to make their possible disease and/or loss of land worthwhile?! 20k for your mineral rights won't even cover a week at the hospital, folks.
