In response to unreal's comment, I do volunteer work at the susquehanna aspca and I can asure you that you have no idea what the place is about. They do not put animals to sleep because they like too, and there is certainly more than 12 dogs in the shelter. there is simply not enough space to continuiously house the same animals for an extended period of time, if people were more responsible for their own pets it would not be necessary to put any of them to sleep. If people like you would adopt animals rather than run their mouths it would not be a problem. If the local rescues actually operated in the manner that they are supposed to it would not be a problem, some not all mind you. So before you judge the place and the people involved I suggest you learn what it is your talking about.
