What kind of dumb*$ would leave a child alone in a house, the accident was right in front of the home at that time. He did not go out to look at a car accident it was his Pappy in the car and he did not get close enough to the car to actually see him, you know what it is not even worth my time to debate this. You should not judge someone if you do not have all the facts and since you were not at all the hearings I do not expect you to understand what happen. You want to blame someone direct your anger toward Julie, she could not even say "Sorry" to the family. Let alone saying she came back because Vic needed her help, that was not true he already was getting help. Then after she killed Vic she went back to her old boyfriend. If it were not for Julie none of this would matter, that is the sad fact.

The mother took her son outside with her because he was 2. She heard the crash but did not know that it was her father in law who was involved. Who would leave their young child in a house alone. She did the responsable thing and took her child along. That is being a good parent. Like I said she couldn't see how bad it was and didn't know who was involved until she got outside and closer to the scene. Thats when her son reconized that that was his pappy.

I hope you aren't a mother or become one. I would be worried about your childs saftey if you would leave a young child in a home not knowing how long you will be because of a accident. Do you know how much a child can do at the age of 2. That is the age they can climb out of things so it is hard to confine them into one place. I know I have 2 children of my own and I would have done the samething as the boys mother if I was in the same situation with a child that age. It was unfortunate that it happened right in front of her home where she had no other option,

You stay inside with the two year old. You let all the others tend to the injured. Old Vic drank with her for ten years. If he had not been so drunk, he would not have gotten in the car or would have drove himself.

The only victim here was the poor dude who she pulled in front of. Sad case all around.

You are one heartless person. Many people would have done the samething if they were in her situation. You grab your young child out of instinks to see what happened and if help was called for. Wait till your a parent and are faced with a situation. Are you gonna just sit and wait for someone else to call for help. What if you waiting and letting someone else handle it be the minutes that allowed that person to die because you were heartless and said someone else will get help. What if that help was 5 minutes to late because you made the choice to not go help. You have to live knowing that it was your fault that person did not make it.

I lost a son to a dui driver, still awaiting the trial, the suffering is unbearable. this particular person has 26 traffic tickets in 5 years yet still had a liscense. I can only hope for at least a 10 year sentence, and I hope bubba thinks he looks pretty.....I have zero pity for this dirt bag. I only wish the judge would let me handle things my way...
