We'll all be eating baloney sandwiches and drinking grape kool-aid now that the health care bill passed. after our taxes go up, AGAIN, that will be all we can afford. until he taxes kool-aid because it has sugar in it then kool-aid won't be affordable. thanks oh great one.

The only reason you'll be eating baloney sandwiches is because you lose your health insurance or they jack up your rates. If you actually took the time to find out what was in the bill, you would realize that the only tax going up will be on those making over $250K, and then it's not even income tax but Medicare tax which amounts to about $300 a year. At least now, even though you are misinformed and against this bill, if the insurance company you're so in love with decides to cancel you tomorrow, at least your kids won't have to suffer for your ignorance. They will still be able to get coverage. Your welcome!!!

Like many others I was taken aback by that restaurant's "Democrats=Abortion=Murde r" signage. The ultra-conservative owners went overboard with that. Apparently I'm not alone in that opinion. And I'm also not a fan of gospel music with my meal, religious tracts on the tables, etc.

I don't like or trust fanatics of ANY ilk. They're too narrow minded to see anyone else's viewpoint, and they tend to be irrational, overly emotional, and easily offended by opinions or beliefs that don't conform to theirs. In that respect the owners of Seminole Winds are much like the Muslim extremists who try to cram their religion down everybody's throat.

The restaurant is apparently making money for the owners in spite of their religious proselytizing and offensive fanaticism. Good for them, and let's hear it for free speech. But...their social ineptitude and ignorance is showing. In the end they would be better served, and better human beings, if they had more concern for all of their fellow men instead of telling so many of us we're murderers.

Perfect response. I've given up trying to figure some people out. And as long as they respect my right to not believe, I have no problem with theirs. It's when they try to blur the line between church and state that every citizen has a duty to speak up. Our founding fathers specifically made that distinction for a reason. If you are truly patriotic, you would not undermine our duly elected government because you're peeved that your 8 year reign by the Bushies somehow failed to bring us back to the 1950's.

if your not a fan of hearing gospel music while eating your meal why not eat some place else so we all dont have to waste our time reading about how upset you are over hearing gospel music while you were shoving your face full of mashed potatoes. And i have a question. Do you believe abortion is not murder?

First of all, most civilized people don't "shovel" anything into their face. Secondly, abortion of a fetus is not murder. And, by the way, the day that you are able to get pregnant, cervical or ovarian cancer, suffer any illnesses related to pregnancy, know that your fetus has serious dibilitating illnesses or no chance of a meaningful or happy LIFE, stay the hell out of my womb and business of taking care of myself and my body. PS - if you really want to help, put your money where your mouth is and adopt a living child already in this world. Don't worry about the as-yet unborn and my decisions!

I am a Christian Democrat and just because I believe
the Government has no right to tell me what to do with my body...that is between me and God..
Does not mean I support abortion.
I will NEVER step foot in that restaurant again.
you alone not eating there, will probably not make them shut down

this place has it's problems like every other restaurant but i think as an ex-employee i can speak on these things first hand

*the owners and mangement is AWFUL, they dont know how to talk to there employess on a professional level and nor do they know how to respect you !

*i dont think as an owner and a person of mangement and as well as a christian it would be acceptable to treat and talk to your employess like SHIT!

Glad someone finally brought up names... most of you won't remember and many will be to young, but there was a BAR across town a number of years ago called "BROTHERS THREE". It was where O'Neals restaurant is now. The three brothers names were (are) Bryant... they had (have) a Mother named Betty... well, one fine day there was a BIG drug bust involving the restaurant and the people who owned it. When the dust cleared the only person who went to jail (as I recall) was mama... she took the fall for the three boys so they could continue to operate the business (I'm NOT talking about the restaurant business). Now in my opinion that's probably still going on since a CASH business like "The Seminole Breaking Wind" would be a great front to launder large amounts of cash that might be generated by some illicit cash money enterprize. The Holy Roller Self Rightous More Christian than You front would also be a good way to cover whatever might really be going on.
Now I'm not saying it's the same Bryant, but there's someone out there who knows whether it is or not, and there's more than one someone who knows whether it's operating as a front or not... why not join in the discussion.

what's so ironic about this whole 'abortion' issue with seminole wind and the owner is i know his daughter. she had an abortion a few years ago because her and the guy did not want it plus she was afraid of what her 'christian parents' would do to her if they found out.

so because of their christianity scaring the hell out of her, she killed her child because of what they would have thought about it. so what?! she got pregnant. it happens. because of their outlandish christian beliefs, a baby was killed b/c of nothing but fear in their daughter, well not to mention her and the guys immaturity.

the dad paid for it and never knew it.

life's funny huh?

You don't know her too well b/c her mom is very liberal and not a christian, and she isn't scared of either one of them!
