yes I would adopt. I plan on adopting one day. two of my cousins are adopted and they belong with us. no, i cannot adopt or foster a child right now as I am a college student BUT in the future. most definitely. however... if a woman was to come to me personally and say she was aborting her child and wanted me personally to have it if she was to give birth. i would find a way to take care of it. i would arrange my life schedule accordingly. its the only decent thing to do.
Well said, my dear. I believe this is the way a lot of us "pro-choice" people feel... We just need more people to come forward and help out in these situations... why cant we all be "christian do-gooders"???

She should have thought about that before she opened her legs.
It's a real simple concept. You do the deed.. you get pregnant. What is so hard to grasp about that? All i can say is This country is full of idiots. Birth control is free around here at Health Depts. there is no reason to have an abortion.
Now if she is a rape victim then it is a whole other matter.. but to just be irresponsible and kill the baby b/c YOU dont want to deal with it is completely ridiculous.
adoption is the answer. thousands of families who can't have babies for medical reasons are sitting back waiting for some of these selfish sluts and man whores to pop a baby out irresponsibly so they can finally have the family they want. See, everyone wins. they get the sex.. then family gets the baby.
Now see that just makes no sense. If having an abortion is killing a baby, then a rape victim having an abortion would still be killing a baby by your definition anyways. You can't just change it to suit whatever situation you see fit. So you pick one or the other, it's either murder or it's not. I would love to see you tell a woman who is a victim of rape that she is a murderer if she aborts her unwanted fetus because it was the progeny of her rapist. Go fot it. I'm sure you would get the kick in the ass you were asking for.

Would You Consider Abortion in These Four Situations?

1. There is a preacher and wife who are very, very poor. They already have 14 kids. Now she finds out she is pregnant with her 15th. They are living in tremendous poverty. Considering their poverty and the excessive world population, would you consider recommending abortion?

2. The father is sick with sniffles, the mother has TB. They have 4 children. The first is blind, the second is dead. The third is deaf and the fourth has TB. The mother finds she is pregnant again. Given the extreme situation, would you recommend abortion?

3. A man raped a 13 year old black girl and she got pregnant. If you were her parents, would you consider recommending abortion?

4. A teenage girl is pregnant. She is not married. Her fiancee is not the father of the baby, and he is very upset. Would you recommend an abortion?

If you have answered “yes” to any of these situations:

In the first case you would have killed John Wesley, one of the great evangelists of the 19th century.

In the second case, you would have killed Beethoven.

In the third case you would have killed Ethel Waters, the great black gospel singer.

In the fourth case you would have recommended the murder of Jesus Christ.

With U. S. abortion deaths topping 30 million, only God knows what we have sacrificed in lost human talent and creativity.

Yes I would recommend it in many of those cases. And judging someone's greatness is purely opinion and therefore subjective. You have no way of knowing how someone is going to turn out. They could have become murderers or rapists just as easily as they became evangelists, composers, singers or carpenters. You judge by the situation not but the potential.

The ONLY way to see what the REAL truth is will be to wait until the day after the election. Inquisitor refers to "...the vast majority of southwest georgians..." when in fact it may only be the vast majority of people he associates with... but... the day after the election we'll all know for sure. As he says, "the power of the government still lies with the people of America" . You may have your opinion about Democrats, but I have an opinion about Republicans too, and it's just as critical. If you were on the "line of march" at the funeral in Thomasville a few days ago then you know that young man died because of the forseeable outcome of a war begun by Republicans for Republican causes. There's no amount of oil in the world worth the life of one brave American and neither George W. Bush or Dick Cheney cared an iota about the American soldier or people when they started the Iraq and Afghanistan wars that evolved into what's going on now.
To Bochphus 1965, yes, Sanford Bishop is an obamacrat, and you along with every other South Georgian should be proud of that. It's a whole lot better than the alternative...
by the way... the term Fascist is commonly used to describe Republicans. If you look up the words you'll see the definition fits Conservatives very closely. The corresponding term for Democrats is Socialist. It fits Dems just as closely as Fascist and Racist fit Repubs.

It's been 4 days since I posted the above discussion... doesn't someone want to help me keep this on top so people will read it. That's one of the great things about blog sites like this. The thread lives forever so people who you or I would never talk to in real life can come in days later and read the discussion like it happened today. There's too much good stuff here to just let it disappear into oblivion.
