You are SOOOO right... my first thought when seeing this mornings paper was " Just how little class can those people have".

It's a long two years until the next election and if we are going to have to put up with that crap on Jackson Street even once a month until then, the city needs to create an ordinance limiting how often a single group can do a march or protest.

Just like the 2008 election... "YOU LOST... get over it"... try again next time, but you lost this time and most people don't want to keep hearing about it.

By the way...that's a good line... can I use it some other places ?

I was actually there in the 60's... I was a teenager and actually went to a segregatd high school in a large city. At the time it may not have been popular with the majority of "cracker" white kids, but I saw integration as the wave of the future in all aspects of society and chose to become part of the "Civil Rights Movement" instead of a "Frustrated Kluxer"... we have to many of the latter around even now, despite the fact they don't know what they are frustrated about and how they really feel. The Freedom Liners need to enter the 21st century and make a conscious effort to overcome their prejudices.

Use it, SWGA!
You are right, change is hard. It is uncomfortable and scary. It is also necessary and inevitable. We are not going back, folks. Our future leaders will be black, white and all shades in between. They will be gay, straight and bisexual. They will be Christian, Hindu, Muslim and Atheist. You will learn to accept this as normal, because it is normal. If you don't accept this, your children will.
