I'm a volunteer at this animal shelter. i love working there, and i have learned alot about animals already. i hate it when owners surrender their pets for adoption because they don't want them anymore. It also is mean to steal someone's pets. Just go adopt some.

THAT'S AWFUL!! I hope the people doing this is caught soon!

We have 3 dogs. They're like our (extra) children. I can only image the heartache the owners of these missing dogs are going threw.

May also note: Dogs are not only being stolen in Thomasville but also in Cairo Ga. Neighbor has had 2 dogs stolen but 2 have been shot in the last month. My beautiful Great Pyrenese has taken a bullet wound to the neck and probably won't make it if I cannot find help for her because I do not have the money for proper medical treatment. These dogs are a part of our family and if someone will shoot a dog no one is safe. My advice: Keep them in and don't let them go outside alone they are a protectors and are being shot to be silenced.

My problem with the humane society is they are always raising the adoption prices. More ppl would adopt if it were not so expensive. I understand that they need money to help pay for food, shots ect.. They get grants from the state that help with that. Pedigree donates dog food.

I have two puppies that need good homes. I will give them away at no cost. They are mixed but beautiful. I am moving and where I am going, I can't have pets in the building without paying a huge fee. It breaks my heart because I can't get any family member to watch momma dog for me until I can get a yard.
