You seem to really enjoy your bible so why don't you spend more time with your nose in the good book and less time in here where we obviously are disturbing you.

Jes was my cousin. I have cried many times because I miss her and pray that she is safe with God. I have NO sympathy for Pomeroy and hope he NEVER gets out of jail to murder someone else. TO
NONEOFYOURBUSINESS OF EDDINGTON MAINE, on one ever knows anyone else because no one can ever know what someone else is thinking. COMPLETELY OUT OF CHARACTER - I DOUBT IT. Pomeroy brutally murdered my cousin and he could do it to someone else. Remember Dennis Reder the BTK (Bind Torture & Kill) serial killer? His wife and children had no idea that he was BTK and neither did his church. YOU DON'T KNOW STEVEN AT ALL. WHAT YOU KNOW IS HIS OUTSIDE COVER.

I'm sorry to post twice but i forgot to mention in my anger filled paragragh of venting, that I personly met and know a person who had his life literly saved by jess, also, know known as 2008 Maine domestic violence murder victom #14. It's tragedies such as this that has me questioning my faith in mankind.
p.s. He never got to say thank you and it eats away at him like a cancer.
I AM JES'S COUSIN AND WOULD LIKE YOU TO PLEASE TELL THE MAN WHOSE LIFE WAS SAVED BY JES TO NOT LET NEVER BEING ABLE TO SAY THANK YOU, EAT AWAY AT HIM LIKE A CANCER. JES WOULD NOT WANT HIM TO SUFFER LIKE THAT. SHE WOULD PUT HER ARMS AROUND HIM, HUG HIM, AND SAY,IN HER SWEET VOICE, "IT'S OKAY." I KNOW FOR A FACT THAT JES WOULD DO THIS BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT SHE DID TO ME AT MY SON'S WEDDING WHEN I CRIED THINKING ABOUT BY DECEASED FATHER NOT BEING ABLE TO BE THERE. JES, HOW SHE TOLD ME SHE LIKE IT SPELLED, WAS SO LOVING AND SWEET. SHE WOULD NEVER WANT THE MAN WHOSE LIFE SHE SAVED TO SUFFER. THAT IS WHY SHE SAVED HIS LIFE, SO HE COULD LIVE AND BE HAPPY. PLEASE MAKE SURE HE KNOWS TO LET IT GO BECAUSE JES WOULD WANT HIM TO. SHE IS GOD'S MOST BEAUTIFUL ANGEL.

the fact of the matter is; not what a horrid person he is but, what a horrid thing he has done. we should refrain from judging until we know all of the character and facts involved. which we never will. i pray Gods love and peace will be with both families involved in this sad story.
does it matter about the character of the victim, seriously he did what he did this so-called person, why should we refrain from judging him until all the "characters and facts involved" are known to us..isn't the bottom line that he killed someone?

He's not a scum bag. What he did was scummy and awful. I've never seen him act with such animosity. I always saw the caring side.
He is a no good scumbag and not worth the money that will be spent on him in jail. I think he got 25 years to life, may fet paroled after so many years. Kill him and save big bucks for us. We are the ones that pay for his worthless as-

I HOPE HE DIES OF OLD AGE IN THERE. WE DON'T NEED HIM BACK ON THE STREETS. The only thing I am sad about is the other family. It is a terrible loss.

You should be ashamed of your ignorant comments and watch how you treat and talk about others. Especially people you do not know anything about. The actions of this man were outrageous in every sense of the word, however, the only one that will be judging him is God. He is the only one that understands this situation. Your opinion does not matter to this case or will have no impact on the punishment of Steven. Should you want to spread your ignorance, do it somewhere that there are not 2 families suffering. Spread your words on topics that may involve your own situations, like gas prices or the economy. Noone wants opinions from a heartless person like yourself.
you wouldn't be saying that if he took out someone you loved!

So True. Jessica Nichols was my cousin's daughter. Jessica's whole family is suffering over her loss. Pomeroy's light sentence of only 35 years has angered Jessica's family. He should have gotten life without parole so he would never be free to do this sadistic crime to another young woman. We feel that pomeroy only said he was sorry so he would get a lesser sentence. I cry when I hear of how brutily he murdered my beautiful young cousin. I love and miss you Jessica, our sweet baby girl!! Love, Toni

i have been stevies friend for a long time. i didnt know jessica but reguardless it is so unfortunate that this all happened, two peoples lives ended that fateful night and thats the bottom line. noone will ever hurt stevie more than he has and will continue to for his actions. i am proud of him for pleading guilty and not putting the families through a long trial and for accepting his punishment. i will continue to be there for the family
