If you are looking for Doctors who are in practice for the money, you are in the right place. I took my two children here. One for just normal check-ups and vac. and the other has ADHD, who needs to be monitored until we find the correct medication and dossage. My children are both on medicaid, and every script wrote for her medicaid did not pay for. It took days before we could get the office personnel and the Dr to get the right type of script to the Pharmacy in order for medicaid to pay for it. Now, keep in mind that in order for the medication to work properly you are not supposed to miss a dose. And another thing when you go you never really know who you will be seeing. I will be finding another Pediatrician for my children. I do not recommend this group at all.

I have taken my children to see Dr Davis since they were born they have never seen another doctor. I would recommend anyone to see her..And to you seeing other doctors there is three other doctors in her pratice but I alway request to see her personally and if she is there that is the only one i will see....She always have taken the time to find out what was wrong with my children and not just to write the prescripton...I also have a child who is adhd and she wrote me a prescription that was covered by medicaid i dont know what happen in your case but i have never had to wait days for anything once i leave a message i always get a call return the same day unless i leave it after hours and then they return them the next morning...So if anyone needs a great doctor see kathy davis and ask to only see her or karen...

I agree;Dr. Kathy Davis is one of the best pedatricians in the world.I would recommend her in a heartbeat.Whatever the reason you had;had nothing to do with her pedatrician skills.Sorry you are on Medicaid;sometimes it can't be helped;but children deserve parents who can tend to their needs as needed.Get yourself an extra job and generate some cash in your home so you can provide for your children when ever needed. Why would you want to to slam the Dr. and her office because you are on Medicaid.Picture this;as slow as medicare and medicaid is;delaying the Drs.money/suppose the next time you need a Dr. your negative comments about her and her practicing ability were the reason your child had no Dr. to see that day.Besides most vacinnes have always been given at the Health department.Perhaps you are the problem/not a practising Physician. She is a very goood Dr.!!!!!Chill out;blame yourself and medicaid for your childs lask of medical care!!!!!!

i have been taking my 2 children to dr davis for 9 years and for the most part i like the way they operate. that said not all times when i have taken my children or even called the office i have had a good experience. your right most of the time you have no idea who you are gonna see and the ladies at the front desk are a little rude. but dr davis and karen harper have always given me the meds i needed to make my children feel better and get well. you who wrote about the medicaid and telling that person to get an extra job to better support their children....shame on you. i have peach care and i pay monthly on that type of insurance and it is considered medicaid. i get nothing for free and the doctor always gets her money in a timely manner. no one who has children should ever knock medicaid or the parents who have to use it. we are hard working people doing the best we can to provide for our children and give them good medical attention when needed. by the way joanne beverly, peach care/medicaid doesnt pay for everything there is still alot of things i have to pay for out of pocket plus pay the monthly payment to have it. you dear need to try a little harder to be understanding and not tell people how to live their lives or how to bring more money into their house! glad your life is so financially stable that you dont need medicaid because if you had it you would see how much of a hassle it is, we would all love to be in your situation hahaha so think about yourself and your life before you go putting others down!

My children have been patients for 12 years and I wouldn't want to move away for having to lose Dr. Davis and the other docs. I hated that Dr. Brewster went to teach medicine, but hope that other docs can come out of med school like him. My oldest daughter has spinal issues and they have always been on the ball with her testing and have never given me problems when she needs anything for it. Dr. Brewster is also the one who discovered my youngest daughter's dwarfism as a medical condition when I just thought she was 'small for her age.'

Given Dr. Harper's recent medical situation, and Dr. Brewster leaving to teach... I understand they are understaffed right now and have three counties combined to one. Even with that, they have always tried to be available for my kids. And my kids would probably pitch a fit if we tried to change. They adore all of the docs, but Dr. Parker especially.

Kathy Mansfield-Davis is one of the best doctors I have ever taken my kids too. But I don't like what she has done about this Medicaid. Now I can no longer take my kids to her. She used my 7 month old son with RSV to get more money for herself as if she doesnt have enough already she us a doctor. She is a good doctor she has helped me with 3 of my children that have ADHD and we had to go through every medication out there for one. I hope she regrets doing what she did and never does it again.

I took my daughter to Dr. Davis for several years. She falsely accused me or someone in our family of shaking her as an infant. It was proven to be an illness. My husband an I were on cameras while she was treated at the hospital. I have never felt so mortified. But we gave her the benefit of the doubt, thinking that her heart was looking out for children, and she just made an error in judgement. We stuck with her as we felt our daughter's care was good and we had no reason to run. But after that, the relationship deteriorated. Even with proof, I believe she could not accept she was wrong. When I would take our child in I would leave there feeling horrible. We left her services. Shortly after that the papers reported she was being sued for multiple false allegations.
