why should neighbors be responsible to feed and care for anothers dogs or cats? flowers, shrubery, gardens are costly to be destroyed by someones animals. responsible people care to keep their animals home and taken care of. if this cant be done no one needs to have them. everyone has a right to have a pet but others have a right to not be harrased by them.

I am sick and tired of other peoples' dogs wandering the neighborhood, growling and barking at people and literally chasing some right into the homes. I have a dog and I keep him contained within our back yard. It's a disgusting shame when you have to come in from your own porch because someone elses dog is charging at you. I love animals but I hate territorial dogs. I hate the irresponsible owners even more.

Its also a shame when your neighbors three dogs roam freely in your yard and attack your 9 year old child and try to kill him and the owner doesn't feel they are responsible for the attack or the hospital bills. I lived in Thomaston in 2008 and had to leave after my son was attacked by Lisa and Mark Fox's bull mastiff, Potter and their Great Dane because even after declaring Potter a dangerous dog, they let him roam freely and continue to come in my yard. I even brought a video to animal control of the dog in my yard on several occasions when the law says that Potter was supposed to be penned up and never loose again. These people have complete disregard for human life or any of their neighbors. They refuse to pay any of the hospital bills. My son had to be airlifted to Children's hospital in Atlanta which cost $17,000 just for the helicopter. They still say they are not responsible and now live in Klamath Falls, OR where Potter still roams loose through the neighborhood and has attacked the neighbors' dog and the neighbor. They have no respect for their neighbors and try very hard to seem like the pillar of the community telling lies wherever they go. Now they are moving back to GA in May when school lets out and Potter is coming back to GA along with another bull mastiff they have acquired to roam the neighborhoods of GA again. So they move every year or so and have no jobs but live the lifestyle of the rich. Their neighbors in Oregon have had it with them and their animals tearing up the neighborhood. When will people take responsibility for their animals. I couldn't even go in my yard because if it wasn't their dogs in my yard, it was their cows, leaving cow patties all over the yard and walking on all the plants and bird feeders I had in the yard and destroying it all.
