I believe this is an honor to Mr. White. He has serve with the NAACP for over 40 years ans his main goal was justice and equality for all. Mr. White did not see color, but right and wrong regardless the skin color. The contents of a person character was what he say in all people not the color of a person skin. Many years ago Mr. White start encouraging the younger generation to continue their education because it is important. Return to school and get your GED he would tell those who had dropped out of school. He talked to them about moral and values in life. I am often reminded in December 2009 we had a discussion about my education. He stated,'One is never to old to learn." Okay Joe I just go my first degree March 2011, hope to receive the next by Oct. 2012. Gone but never to be forgotten.
