The shooter was not acquitted he was no-billed by the grand jury.

no his knife was in his pocket, it was a small pocket knife, like most men carry.

we have a copy of the full police report which includes Tennants statement, and there are some very interesting comments made by Tennant. We have had a judge in another county look at the report and in his opinon Tennant should be tried for murder, most of the Walker Co sheriff dept believe so too. It helps to have friends that have friends in the police dept.

I have read several newspaper articles and agree that the grand jury should be presented the evidence and if they return a bill then he should be charged and put before a trial jury.

oh we know the full story, and the full story has caught the attention of 2 major organizations who have taken over the investigation of this case,where the sheriff dept and the county DA failed they are succeeding thank you

I don't believe that anyone here is bickering over this case, it is a tragedy that out justice system is failing victims everyday. It is sad indeed when a victim or in this case the family of a murder victim has to begin their own investigation to see that justice is done. It is our sincere hope that none of you here are forced to be in the same position some day.

UPDATE: we are still investigating Jerry's murder,
and we now have a new ally, we should have some positive news soon.
