Someone already posted that........sounds and reads like she is VERY qualified to me. Besides, jobs like she had, when they end, she moves on, but that doesn't mean she was fired!!!

Joe Friday posted something on her in Cicero Assessor I believe. Perhaps the problem is that she IS qualified and our community has been years behind other communities in assessing and getting into the 21st century for Forestport requires change in many places. Forestport does not like change, even when it is best for it.

the best thing people could do is,get rid of the town superviser, this town has gone to hell, and nobody dares speak up on any topic concerning things that go on between the crooks that run it

The time to change the Supervisor was this past election. Too late now! Unless some people do more than write on topix nothing will change. The Council people may make change in how they vote on proposals, 3 to 1 or 3 to 2 will do it if the Board Members want things to change.
How about beginning to check now on who you want for supervisor who will be up front and in the open with the taxpayers? When you find someone, then work with them to get them elected. Too late for the next 2 yrs.

He just runs things the way he wants and does not check with the Town Board members.
And did the town just create a positon for John Isley? No one else ever got paid to be deputy supervisor. Plus all of us are picking up the cost of his health insurance on the town policy.
A deputy only acts if the supervisor is not able to conduct business.

What makes you think Isley is getting paid by the town and has health ins through the town?

Mr. Isley does get paid to be deputy supervisor. 99.9% of the time a town supervisor chooes someone on the town board to have that position. But our supervisor decided to give his friend the job along with a salary and full benefits. We pay health insurance for all town workers, whether they are full time or part time.

Some individuals hold down 3 positions and get paid for each of them. Two from the same program.
Check it out for yourself. You will be amazed at how many hours it takes to do NOTHING.

Curious and also, have you checked this out? I found that one person given one position is also getting paid for a second position in that same category, and that is double dipping......how about that?

Yes I did check it out and that was no surprise! Corruption at it's best! Isley has no business involved in the town the way he is! Maybe some that know his history will agree and maybe the ones that don't should check into it! The man has his fingers in way too many pies and needs his toes stomped on in a bad way! Mr H should be ashamed to be associated to Isley! If he only knew the true history!!!!!

I pay for my health insurance in full. I have a high deductible as well. All Town employees should at least pay a portion of their premiums
and a co-pay. Times have changed and the tax payer can not and should not be expected to support other than their own family.

I suggest that we start with the Federal government and remove all of the "bennies" that elected officials get.

They should build a high rise office building so each one can have their own office.
