Went there last night to purchase my hunting license, waited five minutes for the guy running the register to get off the phone to help me only to find out they don't accept debit or credit cards for hunting licences!! How can this be??? I understand they don't make anything at all off the sale and it cost them a transaction fee but come on!!! They shouldn't be allowed to sell them at all if they aren't going to accept all forms of payment!

I used to get my license there all of the time, but no longer do due to short woman clerk. She told me that she had to wait on real customers first. The dumbass didn't even stop to think that I might have been a customer too. I planned to get some cold cuts, cheese and drinks for a fishing trip the next day. That woman is so rude she has to be a liberal. I haven't been in that store going on three years now.

Don't plan on buying your license at the Forestport Town Clerk's Office becuase she can't sell them. She never took the class and therefore the town is once again losing money becuase the town clerk can't sell licenses. Kathy used to be helpful and nice when you went there to buy your license. Really - a town clerk who can't sell a hunting or fishing license. What is this world coming to?

What about last year? If this has not happened during HER term, them the town board should have checked to see if she was aware that she had to meet certain requirements for selling licenses at the town hall. If everyone involved knew ahead of time, then someone goofed. If the connections were not completed it is not the clerk's fault.
Maybe the Board didn't know either..........

the state now wants you to get your license on line , so they don't have to pay the stores and towns a little piece of the money ...

Do it the old fashioned way. Get your license locally, keep that information from the hands of the unknown public, and think of why these things are happening the way they are these days. AND use your head, STAY OFF OF ANY SITES on the computer or elsewhere when you don't who can access that pesonal data. Get your license locally if you can. To put your data and personal information on line just doesn't need to happen. Things are getting out of hand, and they bank on people doing things the LAZY way........Keep alert and on guard of who and for what purpose you share ANY of your personal data.

JUST MORE OF OUR PERSONAL PRIVATE INFORMATION WILL BE PUT OUT THERE FOR ALL TO SEE AND FOR SURE, THIS IS THE WAY IT WILL BE.
Our INFORMATION POSTED ON LINE, is gathered and sold to advertisers, and also we are vulnerable to all sorts of crap we don't want to have in our system.
Lists are constantly being gleened and sold to businesses for bucks. You don't know WHERE your data goes, so be sure your privacy is as secure as you can get it to be on here and even then be careful.
