It's these guys that don't know when they've gone too far that ruin it for everybody. The students at O.U. seem to take pride in going too far with their partying. It's always only a matter of time before very bad elements infiltrate this kind of partying.

Hey, Ian Grigby you don't think about others who live near by. Others who
may be sleeping when a concert is at it's best! Like someone who has a job. Or who are studying for a class. Or someone who looks out the window and see one of your guests taking a piss in someone else's yard! And think it okay to do this! What about the trash they leave behind, in someone else's yard. Or do you get out and clean up after them. NO! There is nothing wrong with having a party now and then, but to have a large concert and ask for money ........ this is a business! Go open a old warehouse, away from where people live.

Can not Sleep -- Just to clarify your last point, people running these shows make absolutely no money out of this. A lot of times they have to sacrifice the money out of their pockets! The 'business' that's going on is really just to give money to those who are playing for gas and food. But I do agree that hosts should be a little more considerate on noise curfews.
And at the shows in O.U., I feel much more safer there than I do at most parties I've attended, where monitoring is at an all time low and there's seemingly nothing for anyone to do but drink. So I think the fingers are pointed in the wrong direction.
