Have you ever checked underneath the onramp to the toll bridge from Hood River to Highway 14, Bingen and White Salmon? It is something that really shocked me. The concrete posts that support the ramp and which are in the water, are cracked and bent. Yes, I was shocked to see this. They have some concrete plaster applied around the perimeter of the cracks, for what function I do not know. These tall posts are actually bent and leaning so no dinky plaster is going to hold them up. Go and check them out, there's a nice pathway that leads from the Best Western, under the onramp and to the marina. They are very visible and bear checking out. I photographed them and will send the photos to the Oregon Division of Transportation. This bridge needs heavy duty repairs from the looks of it.
