N.M. sect leader says teenager released by state

The leader of an apocalyptic sect who fasted to force the state to release a teenager taken from the group's compound near Clayton says the state has released the girl to her parents.

Well, Sun News, the real facts in the case are:

~there were not three girls involved. Only two, one of which was Willow.

~there is one boy, known as Matthew.

~Willow WAS one of the two counts, but the State's case unraveled when they could not induce her to sign a statement to the effect that Michael had committed what they desperately hoped he had. And the CYFD applied unrelenting coercion (short of sending the child to Quantanamo) to accede to their demands. But, in her integrity, she refused to lie.

Now there remains but one 16-year-old as their only witness, who has confided to some here that she never told the State investigators what they say she did.

As Mr. Rogers might put it, "Can you say 'witch hunt?'"?
