Joe Spencer is ridiculous. This is a man that defends corrupt leaders, child molesters, domestic violence offenders and felons. Now he is making social commentaries on how Norma is better for the community? Dont you just love El Paso. Also I did some research on this TLR bill brought up in this past session, the bill was dead in the Senate before it even hit the house floor, so what Norma did is what she's always done...NOTHING AND TAKE CREDIT FOR EVERYTHING!! Joe, stick to defending the scum of El Paso, chasing ambulances and betting on dead horses (Norma in this case) and stay out of politics. Norma is bad for El Paso, GO NAOMI!!!

Just what I'd expect to hear from an attorney! Joe, will you be contributing to Norma Chavez' Campaign? Irene, you're correct on the TLR bill.

Mr. Spencer fails to mention that Norma Chavez previously received thousands of dollars in campaign contributions from the "shadowy" self-described Texans for Lawsuit Reform.

There's no way to hide the fact that Norma Chavez' record proves that she will dance with anyone willing to pay her. Proof: her alliance with the Midland millionaire, former House Speaker Tom Craddick, who withheld funding for El Paso's four-year medical school for years. But, because she allied herself with him, Craddick appointed Chavez to the "Border Affairs Committee."
In Austin, Norma Chavez is known as a "Craddick Democrat."

The trial lawyers and labor unions will regret their support of Norma Chavez. Her only friend is herself.

Ms. Gonzalez is a republican in democrat's clothing!
She's being financed by big business interests and corporate fat cats that don't want regulations imposed on them! Specifically the Texans For Lawsuit Abuse! They want to keep on keeping on with the status quo!
As Mr. Spencer points out, she will work for and on behalf of corporate interests to protect them!
This is typical of republican ideology, to protect big business at the expense of workers and their safety! In other words, profits come before anything else!
If you want to protect the big business fat cats, go ahead vote for Naomi Gonzalez!
Bush, Perry and the rest of the republican controlled state of Texas is what they are all about!
