it's a shame what happened to this girl, but her father needs to put the blame elsewhere.
after reading the story, it appears that she is responsible for her own death. toxicology results will more then likely confirm that.

Hi to both of you commenters! I would just like to say that i know that everyone has that comments about this beatiful young lady, and yes as we know her actions may have led her to her death, but you all must realize that the family is dealing with a lot of pain right now and yes they are gonna blame the whole wide world because that was their little baby,i just always tell everyone do not judge someone else because what if it was you caught up in the same situation as a parent?a A lot of people never realize that.Just remember that if you have older chilren the same thing can happen to you also even if we think we are the best parent in the world and have put all great values in our children they still go astray at times,i know because my children have and all i can do is pray for them when they do,so remember when you are making an comment, always make sure that you think about the people that she left behind and what these people are going through because they loved her so much, always let GOD be the judge of everything and not us because all in all no one no matter what they have ever did deserve to die like that not even us ! Give it a thought! Be Blessed All!!!!

This is very sad and we are all responsible for our own actions. We have all done crazy things at one point in our life that we regret. This could happen to our children not just her, she was a victim no matter what, not to blame anyone but alcohol, her death should teach us to look out for others and not let them drink and drive. She needs prayer, now not to be judge. I have my love and prayer with her and loved ones left behind. Don't drink an drive and don't let friends drink and drive!!!

She asked for help, she called for
help, and they arrived 22 to 26 minutes latter. She was a victim.

Perhaps 1 day someone will run "you" off the road, perhaps some ice might cause it, hmm your tire might blow. Regardless of how it might happen, you might end up upside down in a large body of water, realizing as your air runs out that you may have made an error in judgment and now there is no more last chances. Since it's not immediate, you have plenty of time to reflect, things left undone, feelings and thoughts left unsaid. Thinking of loved ones that might mourn your passing (or not).
The folks that lost their child have to think of this everyday. Who are you to attempt to judge another, when your demise might be much more desolate. If this is the person you are, that you could be so callous and subhuman as to interfere with the grief of others that found her so dear in their lives. Perhaps you should research a bit of yourself to see if you fit into the category of "humanity". You have a lack of something that is essential to humans, that gives us a will to survive, advance and thrive. It's called Compassion.

I don't care what she did prior to the 911 call. The fact in question is why it took 911 so long to find her. I don't think that they were intoxicated or visiting the so-called butt-naked club. The EMS crew was not responsible for having the right directions, because they go where they are told. The problem with 911 in Texas is that 911 and the citizens are not on the same page. The direct interference with street addresses is being done by the local 911 authorities. Renaming streets has caused and will continue to cause the 911 system to be unsafe to even use. The EMS crews are ordered to depend upon the address provided to them by the 911 authorities, and the address does not always match because the addresses furnished by the authority are not the recognized addresses that the people actually use. And unless the 911 authorities are given the power to break the constitution of the state and federal governments there will always be this problem.

I do not understand why when you complain about these 911 addresses that you are told to shut up. These safety people know that there is a problem, but they have been told not to rock the boat. Why do the 911 addressing idiots think that Cr is a better name for a road than Weeks Chapel Road the original name of the road is beyond me. Cr is just two letters and is not a name. Co Rd doesnt mean a thing to me. County Road is a generic name and only means that the County maintains that road. And adding a number to it is not any great help either, because I have a problem with numbers. And from my understanding most students in our school systems don't recognize the difference between numbers too well either. So! How can all these so called smart people do something so stupid as to put these two letters down as a name when the law states very clearly that recognition of the street address is so damn important. These idiots put Cr #### on all of the rural roads in this area of Newton County Texas. And begrudgingly they have allowed us to put up a street sign off of the right of way so that people can find us. Why the heck are they so adamant about these stupid Cr /PVT addresses is beyond me. They are only confusing and because they are all alike we are using surveyors ribbons to mark the different roads. And what they are doing on F.M. 692 is nothing less than a crime. They are not only trying to change a road name but a private cemetery name against the owners wishes. I even heard that they attacked one of the family members because he was returning all of the mail addressed County Road back to the sender and informing them not to write that address again. Who is representing the people because it is not our commissioners court. They are allowing this system to endanger our lives and property and I would like to know how they are profitting from it. Would the gentlemen in AUSTN please tell us why these obvious dangers have been ignored by the state. Our government is a republic but it is still supposed to be governed by the people, and I thought that it was illegal for the government to knowingly endanger someones life and or property. Sicerely the Texan.
