TISD cancelled their election for May 9. No contested races. Looks like a trend.
Your right. I wonder why? People may be just too busy just trying to keep thier heads above water to do any public service.

Brad Johnson is truly the village idiot with a long history of being a nuisance. The shack on Olive Street that the city torn down had been vacant for years and was an eye sore. Thank goodness the city is doing something to clean up the neighborhood. God help us if someone like him can get elected to public office.

Sounds like you have had problems with him. He may act crazy at times but he is far from being an idiot. He is very close to being a genius. The city needs someone who will say no to new taxes and overspending, and the city manager-CEO needs someone on the council who will jerk him back to reality every once in a while.

I wonder how the election is going. As of yesterday there had been 48 early voters. I don`t expect Bradley to win, but he sure has them upset.

A bunch of the political signs out for Tina Gooch were illegaly on the right of way. Bradley called the city and was told they were short handed. They would take them down Monday. Duh

Oh, so it was yesterday. There wasn't much, if anything, in Saturday's paper about it.

But most likely they will have a nice write up about her winning.

Johnson did better than I expected, too.
