They replaced the old Dixie Diner. I thought they were a restaurant; but walked in to a bar and grill. So I got burger and fries anyway. Been throwing up every since. Not sure if that was really hamburger meat or not. I remember when I was overseas in army and ate dog meat. Taste was similar. Guess I wont be going back for sure.

YUCK! One of my friends was trying to get me to go the other night and have a drink with her. Now I'm kinda glad I didnt make it!! I probably would've tried the food. Im curious what the name of the place means. Doesn't matter 'cause now I'm forever going to associate it with cooked dog. Please tell me that you 'mistakenly' tried dog overseas!!

Yes, it was by accident, but then their delicatessen back then (70's) was dog. We were in a group of soldiers and the people sitting next to us ordered for us because the menu was in Korean. It was only later when we returned to base, we found out what we had eaten, when all the Korean Army guys started laughing wildly. I will never forget that taste. Although I am pretty sure it wasnt dog? at Lead Bellies, the taste did ring my memory bells. My taste buds are older now. Lol

Indeed they did. But not the one in Nash. Last time I ate there, had black spots in my mashed taters, lumpy, left off part of order, food was cold. It was terrible.

What possible reason would I have to lie? The Nash Dixie Diner has always had terrible food.
But ANYPLACE would have to beat Lead Bellies.

I don't know anyone who thinks the food there is bad.

You do now.

Also, the rolls were so undercooked you could taste the yeast.

I meant in real life, you're just some random lying topix troll, you aren't real.

Well, I do have a short time left on the face of this earth. My body wont be real for much longer. However, my spirit will be and where I go from here makes all the difference in eternity. I wish I was like Paul and could say I have fought the good fight, but alas, I am the worst of sinners from a Christian standpoint; apparently it was not Dixie Diner that ushered in the final stage of my life even though it was close, and as close to death as I am, I have (even most pagans when reaching such a turning point) have no reason to lie about such casual circumstances.

We've now been open for 5 days. I'm terribly sorry if you have somehow contracted some type of terrible virus but I guarantee it wasn't from our food. Sorry if you don't plan on coming back, everyone else seems to be enjoying us quite nicely. Anyone who actually knows good bar food and how to have a good time, come see us!

If you eat in a restaurant or whatever, you become sick about 30 minutes after you leave, but you cant possibly link that stomach sickness with the food you just finished eating???? What am I missing here?
